Ben, Josh and Nate at Meineke at West York go out of their way to help and take care of their customers. I have been bringing my cars there for the last two years. I have three old cars with lots of problems and frequently one of the cars was in the shop for repairs. They did high quality work. They provided free loaner cars while my cars were being repaired. Above all they care about their customers, have served our country, and are very involved in the local community by sponsoring organizations like the Chidrens Miracle Network. Earlier this year I was on my way to attend my daughter's college graduation in Harrisburg. On the way our van with nine people in it broke down on Rt. 83. I called Meineke. They immediately arranged for a tow, came and picked all of us up and soon we were on our way to the graduation in the loaner cars they provided for us. We were able to make it to the graduation on time. This is just one of many instances where they have gone above and beyond to help me. They are honest, reliable, provide excellent service and above all care about you the customer. I have used many different auto repair shops in my lifetime, but none have come close to the service I have received from them. I find the first person who commented on this site to be quite a strange analysis considering I have looked at many of the sites to inquire whether or not to take my car to this establishment. NO other person who did a customer satisfaction rating said anything but great things about this company. To call them crooks is a ridiculous and unmerited statement, to say the least. They have been so kind and honest with every repair that I have had there. Just ask the customers in the waiting room. They treat everyone like family. If you had so much confidence in your BMW mechanic than why did you not take it there? For anyone who wants an honest garage with HONEST mechanics skip over the first comment and read all of the others, then decide for yourself who you would agree with. I say all of the five stars out rate the one star. Give them a try.

Was searching for a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI online and saw Huber's listed on the USAA and Carguru websites. Only problem was it was almost 2 hours away! The car's pictures, description and detail on the website made me give them a call. Eric Reder filled me in on the details over the phone and stressed how much work they put into the car before putting it on the lot. I was surprised to hear that because the car only had 36,000 miles on it! He also said that the car looks better in person than in pictures (he was right!). I drove out and met with Eric Huber and immediately hit it off with him- we are both VW guys. The car looked showroom condition (my wife said several times she can't believe its not new) but Huber's went over the car and performed all of the 40,000 mile services on it. The car is only at 36,000 miles! The point is, I think they could have just vacuumed it, washed it, put 2 tires on it and put it for sale, but Eric explained that most of his customers come there for follow up service and if I came back for the next oil change at 40,000 miles and he hit me with VW's recommended 40,000 mile service charge, I would undoubtedly be P.O'd since I just bought the car. And he's right. Eric showed me the list of all the work performed and gave me a copy for my records. Very impressed with that kind of thinking. Huber's is a full service car repair facility that also sells high quality used cars and they put good cars on the lot to keep their customers happy so they'll come back for service. Worked out well for me!
