On October 26th I took my brand new car (2011 MazdaSpeed3) in for its first oil change and tire rotation. When I opened my trunk over the weekend, I found that one of the shocks to my truck has been removed from my car. In addition, right around the area of where the shock mounts to the body of the car is damaged in 2 areas. I went back to the store this morning and brought it to their attention. I explained to them the situation and before even coming out to look at the car I got “We didn’t do something like that”. Once I got the manager out to look at the car, he brought the person that worked on my car out and said my car was like that when I brought it in. My hatch will not even open up now unless someone holds it open and they are trying to tell me that it was like that when I brought it in. Now, I removed things out of the trunk of my car (laptop, bag, because I work across the street) and hatch was FINE. They were the last people in my truck as they needed to get the wheel lock out from underneath the spare tire. My car was NOT missing a shock and had no damage on it prior to this and shocks just do NOT fall off of a car. End result here is there are no security cameras and they are all sticking to their story as they didn’t do anything wrong. BEWARE of taking your car here as the workers do not report mistakes to the managers like they are supposed to then we, the customer, pays for it in the end.
