Comment on unhappy customer

Dear mr customer with the brake light switch. Next time you have a part that does not work. Bring the car back to us and we will correct problem. You can even bring the defective part back to us. Do not come empty handed. There is also more than one part to make your brake light switch work! There is a fuse, there is wiring, and there is also a 25 cent clip that gets soft and falls apart over time. We are sorry for your bad experience and we would give you a free oil change for your inconvenience. Thank you. The management.

Awfull!!!!

A total ripoff!!! Never go to this place. I had my brake light switch replaced by them on Oct-6-2014 for $189. After a couple of months the gear shift knob stopped working while the car was in the park position. I asked people at Firestone to have a look at this during my regular oil and filter change. They said that the brake light switch had gone bad. Then I took the car back to Marlyn and asked them what could be done about it cos its only been two months since they replaced it. The guy was extremely rude and said that they could do nothing about it and that I should have brought the car over to them. I told him that I ever expected the switch to go bad so soon and I didnt know that it was a problem with the switch. So obviously I did not brink it to them. He kep on insisting that he could do nothing about it. Did not even have a look at the brake light switch to confirm that it was broken. I told that its really unfair of them to treat their customers like this. His reply was "It's not unfair, It's fair by me. Now get the hell out of here before I call the cops". Bottom line. Never go to this place if you value good service. Its the most dreadful auto repair place ever. FYI firestone only charged me $110 for the replacement. Gives you an idea of what a rip off this place is
