Transmission Repair
Robert worked on our transmission. It leaked right after that. He is very rude and overcharges. He took our credit card then refused because we told him would dispute the charges.Buyer Beware!

Roberts Automotive worked on my Mustang for almost 10 years. The original plan was to build a strong motor that had high torque and horsepower. Come to find out he had know idea how to make this happen. Every time I went to get my car back there was always something new wrong with it. The last time I took it to him to fix a noise and change the oil. I got it back with no oil and it was already knocking and when I confronted him about it, he insisted he put oil it himself. So I let him take one more look at the motor. And he said yep looks like the motor has had it and he offered to start all over and build me a new one. Keep in mind this is about $80,000.00 of him working on my car later. So I decided to smarten up and find a new mechanic. ( Carolina Speed Shop of Conway, SC) So when I get my car back I notice there is no radiator, radiator fan, or AC Compresser. About $1500.00 in parts missing, again I confronted him and he had no answer for the matter. So I let that one go and about a month later my mechanic has new motor ready to install. We go to install it and come to find out the transmission in my car has been switched out. Car had a TKO high performance transmission originally in it. Now it had a used factory transmission. Total cost of TKO transmission about $4,000.00. Keep in mind I hung out with this guy, went to his parties, and even bought his house, that was over cost. And he has the nerve to do all this and lord knows what else that I didn't catch. So if you still want to take your car there, you can't say you wasn't warned. Instead for regualar maintenance if I were you I'd go to Speedee on Northwoods Blvd. For a high performance motor I'd call Carolina Speed Shop in Conway they will come and pick your car up for you.
