Vehicle Sale

Most unethical business/person I have ever dealt with. Completely lied to my face. Bought a truck with what looked be a nice paint job and was told nothing was wrong with power train and there was a rust repair done to the floor boards. He said that he was a past mechanic teacher, and I trusted that this was true. Driving the vehicle home the truck would continuously over heat. I had to replace the water pump, worn out cam shaft and radiator. Now I finally got it running with out a misfire and overheating. Close to a year after I bought the truck there are rust parts showing through that "nice" paint job. This made me nervous enough to pull out the seats and carpet to check out the "repaired" floor pans. They covered huge rusted holes with a fiberglass patches. I am replacing the floor pans now and I had to cut more away than even the new floor pans will cover. If I wouldn't have looked and found it I probably would have rusted out the body supports in a couple years . Ridiculous. Have never dealt with anyone so unethical. In a year this would have be very dangerous. Don't even think about buying from this business...

Lied to.. thats the service i got.

Ron is an outright liar! Buyer beware don't live to regret buying an auto from this scammer family run business!! $12.500 + $2600 in shipping to get cheated.. it hurts A man of guilt won't pick up the phone after the sale, which is just what he did. I'm 5000 miles away so i asked very specific questions off his listing on ebay by text & phone and everything out of his mouth was a lie. One of the costly lies was the question, "does it have any fluid leaks" (No) in the first 12hrs bringing the truck home i had a spot of oil as round as a one gal paint can on my brand new garage floor. It's a main seal leak, very expensive to fix! I've had it 24hrs its now in the shop having multiple things fixed as it won't pass inspection, no telling how much i'll have to spend to make it road worthy! My wife is pissed at humanity at this point, she was very involved in our shopping for a classic truck. She doesn't understand how people can be so cruel after confessing their faith!!! WE GOT SCREWED!!!! He's a very religious man, don't even ask him he'll tell you~ BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! I"M TELLING YOU, DON'T MESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! They got their business ethics from Trump university! Scum of the earth!! SICK EM KARMA!!!!!!!

Google

I to have been badly stitched by this so called "Honest Southern Baptist"....I bought a 67 Ford Galaxy convertible advertised on ebay a few wks back, I bought it after it didn't sell at auction, he assured me the frame was in good condition, needing no welding or had any welding, photos on ebay cleverly disguised and avoided the rust areas, so I took him at his word after phoning him from the UK and asking as many questions as I could about this supposedly very nice car....$10,000 was paid and I shipped it over to England...........The frame is junk, rotted through, patched over around the Torqueboxes, and then smoothed over with body filler, brakes are shot, front drums are broken and rotted through, brakes to the rivets, water is poring from the wheel clys, front wheels loose and wheel studs and nuts are destroyed...all in all a death trap that needs a new frame, complete braking system, set of wheel rims, nuts, studs, that's just the short end of the problem list......the guy is a rip off artist who isn't intrested now the cars in the UK, effectively I'll probably have to scrap the car and lose the $10,000+ $3000 in shipping and duty !!!.......this guy really needs prosecuting with some Jail time to stop him ripping people off.....Some people are just dishonest Scum !

Bought a car on Ebay

I also purchased a car from Ron Watson. Car is complete Junk. I need a new frame. The frame was patched with thin metal at bondo near the power steering box. The bolts were faked through to look like they were attached but really not Frame rot was painted over behind that area too. Frame was also cut and rewelded and wasent attached to the rear part of the car due to a bent frame. Body work was poorly done. Car was made to look good to sell, beuaty is only skin deep with the cars he sells. Buyers beware. Very dishonest. Now i am stuck with a 18k car that needs a boat load of work. Ebay is currently looking for other member's that were screwed by this guy. Contact ebay.

purchase

He may have a good car or two, but the one he misrepresented to me was a mess. No accurate description despite my repeated itemized questions = he knew he'd never sell it for near the price if it was viewed in person ! When delivered I noticed the passenger's seat had a undisclosed 3" rip, the doors & rear quarters were badly bondoed and had bubbles...car ran hot, so now I've had the doors/quarters reworked, painted $$ ,seat replaced, radiator replaced with 2row, next is resealing the windshield which leaks horribly, and unfortunately about a dozen other problems that were glazed over/ not reported...he claimed he drove it 25miles, if so, he knew it ran hot, claimed no visible sign of wreck repairs/rust = not honest !! buy in person only, do not believe this "Baptist " family man at anything he says- could be expensive & exhausting & disappointing, I know 1st hand ! 2500 so far, probably 800 to go :/.....be aware is my advice...I trusted his decades of expertise in cars in his description and was not sold what I was told it was...that's the bottom line....thanks Ron and Keith - I needed the headache !

12.4.2011

Bought a 1969 Camaro on Ebay that he assured was rust free in Dec. 2011 even his ebay ad said car was rust Free. It has been garaged kept and not driven till I could afford to have Power Disc Brakes, and A/C put. When Mechanic went to work on it he found sub frame was completely rusted out it had bondo over it and was painted. windshield was held in by chicken wire and fiberglass as underneath dash was rusted out. Floor pan had 2 pair of mens pants under carpet to hold in Floor pan. I have contacted him to ask to buy car back at same price he sold to me even though I have upgraded car and have got no response. I will be sue him if I do not get a response in next 7 Days. Car has been inspected by 3 Independent people and the highest estimate was $9500 on the worth of the car after the upgrades I put in. Very Shady PERSON do NOT Deal with

vehicle purchase

Bought a car online Delivered with a bad transmission, multiple fluid leaks, shot suspension, painted over rust and bad fuse panel wiring. Vehicle is now in-op less than 3 weeks after purchase due to safety and drive train problems. Advertised as complete and road ready. Typical used car dealer, not a restorer. Beware.
