Tires

11/28/20 These guys are awesome! I was 200 miles from home at 5:00 Saturday, had a tire belt separated (non firestone) on the front of my truck. I told Vincent I was in a bind for time. In about 30 minutes Chad had me on the road. I wish they were closer, they would have all my business. K. Arwood Erwin TN.

Water pump replacement

This repair occurred on 10/1/14. The serpentine belt and water pump were replaced on my 2004 Envoy XUV SLT. My car had to be towed to the Hamilton Place TN Firestone location where the repairs were made. My husband took our grandson to the NC mountains to ski on 12/31, but couldn't get back home because the radiator cracked, thus overheating the engine. The radiator was replaced on 1/1/15 and required an overnight stay in Maggie Valley, NC. I got my car back later that day and proceeded to drive it. On 2/2/15 I got a message from my vehicle - engine too hot - just before I arrived at my office. My husband called the radiator warranty company and was referred to H&W Auto on Lee Highway in Chattanooga. They found that the water pump was very loose on the bottom screws, enough that the mechanics hand could tighten them by hand. This repair shop performed a pressure test on the system after tightening the all screws on the water pump, and re-filled the coolant. If Firestone had performed a pressure test this problem would have been found. Sloppy work!!!
