oil change
I was wrong. I posted the comment on Sept. 14 about putting a hole in my oil pan. they did put the tiny hole in the pan, just not the way I said. I apologize. the plate that reinforces the drain plug hole is attached by 3 spot welds. if you tighten the plug too hard, it breaks one of the welds and puts a hole in the pan. that is what happened. I have learned that happens to often with japanese cars. you have to use a new gasket EVERY time or it leaks.

oil change
I let this place change my oil for years. never a problem. never saw even a drop of oil under my car. last 2 oil changes, I had leaks. one fixed with new plug gasket. last leak was caused by their 3 pronged gadget they fastened to the pan. it punched a tiny hole in my oil pan so small it took 2 trips to a mechanic for them to find it. I saw it myself.

Oil Change
I had my oil changed Friday and did not drive it on Saturday. I went out and drove where the engine got hot. I went in one place for about 30 minutes - when I came out there was a puddle of oil under the car - I drove home - about 2 miles and parked the car - I then checked the oil an it was empty. I had similar happen in Atlanta, Ga with another company - they had not taken the filter out and the oil leaked. I believe this is what has happened, I will call them in the morning and have them tow it there (at their cost) as it cannot be driven with out oil.
