Car detailing service near Argyle, TX

I found DFW Dent Repair, in Lewisville TX, a few months ago after searching for a place that did Paintless Dent Repair(PDR) north of Dallas. I have delt with several PDR businesses in the past to repair door dings and hail dents. I was never satisified with their work. I took a chance with DFW Dent Repair to take out some door dings and some manufacturer defects in the sheetmetal on my 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 and hoped for the best. I could not believe my eyes after Justin and Chase did the work. It was like the door dings and defects were never there! I was so happy with their work that I recently took my wife's 2012 black Jeep Overland to take out a nice size door ding. Justin took care of it easily. I usually don't write reviews, but I had to give a huge "Thank You" to DFW Dent Repair, in Lewisville TX, for making our cars look great and for their 1st class customer service!!!

They repaired a cluster and a torque converter

I had a slight fender bender that did not break the grill; however, it broke the radiator and the check engine light came on. The car overheated on the way to court. This location was less than 1/4 mile away, so I stopped and took a chance. Worse mistake of my week. That is compared to being attacked and having to get stitches, having a fender bender, having to get a hotel and extend my stay and surviving a low-grade tornado that damaged the rental car. This still was the WORST experience. I was treated rudely, up charged for labor after they had my car for 5 days with no callbacks or updates even though I called them daily and was promised repeatedly to advise on what was done or needed. When I got the car back the check engine light was still on. When I inquired about it I was insulted by the owner who told me that the light was off when they finished with it but I picked it up 30 minutes after they closed from their receptionist LaTonya who I texted back to advise that the check engine light was still on and called the two numbers I had for Lawrence with no answer or response back from LaTonya or Lawrence A. Giles. The next day March 14, 2019 when I came back into the shop and began asking questions about the work that was done and upset that my car was running rough and the check engine light was still on I was advised by Lawrence that he understood why I was attacked as I didn't know when to be quiet and that he was doing me a favor. That confused me as he charged me $40.00 diagnostic, then $350.00 parts and labor then an additional $125.00 for additional labor. When I asked for a credit for the diagnostic fees because he did the work four times he finally gave me a $20.00 credit. When I admitted that it was my fault for choosing an unprofessional business that I had not researched due to my car overheating and his proximity to the court where I had an appointment. When I went out to speak with his technician Curtis to inquire what exactly he had done to my car and why the check engine light was on the owner Lawrence told me not to be out there harassing his worker. I was amazed that he felt he could charge me nearly $500.00 on a repair but did not expect me to ask any questions. When they put my car back on the diagnostic machine it indicated CO2 Sensor problems. Curtis cleared it and suggested that I drive the car to see if it came on again. In less than 6 miles the light was back on. I had to go to the dealership to get this car repaired properly. My car overheated and stopped on the dealership technician in less than 2 weeks after the repairs from Action Transmission. The dealership asked if the coolant was added and topped off due to them having to add coolant after the car overheated and stopped on them and if there was a warranty on the work I told them I would try to find out. When I texted to inquire about the warranty on the work done on my car that was never mentioned verbally or in writing I got no response. When I inquired if they filled the coolant like they charged me for I got no response. I will push this forward legally if necessary. My final word is BEWARE of this predator who has little respect for single females who have the audacity to ask questions about what they are paying for. This has been MY experience with this "business" and Lawrence A.Giles.

HI I noticed that the McKinney location for DFW Dent Repair was under construction so I took my 2014 Honda Accord to their Lewisville location to get some recent hail damage repaired. These guys are great! They worked with my insurance company and made to process so easy. It's amazing how they work their "magic" and saw dents I didn't even realize where there. They answered all of my questions and are very "customer focused" They got my car in and out in a reasonable time and the coupon on their website helped me cover my deductible! I was so thrilled with how the Honda turned out, I just dropped off our Mercedes E350 for hail damage repairs! I've dealt with fly by night dent repair companies that pop up like weeds after a hail storm before. This is a brick and mortor location and this is all they do! I visited Tony's for the first time for a quick car wash because I wanted to find a place close to work that I could visit on a regular basis (vs. my regular car wash which is close to my home in Bedford). The car wash itself is what one would expect, however, the tear to the leather on my driver-side seat was not. (Please note that I’ve had my car less than 2 ½ weeks, still with dealer tags.) When I spoke to the manager about the damage, he checked with both of the men that serviced my car and both claimed that neither had anything in their pockets that would cause the damage. Then he played the video that showed one of the men climbing in to my car to drive it to the wash. The manager claimed that the video proved that his pockets were empty. That I can agree with --- but there was no proof as to what happened when either men were actually inside of the car. Needless to say, Tony’s claimed no liability and that the damage must have been there when I arrived. Finally, after much going back and forth, the manager took a photo of the damage, my name and number and said he would have the owner call me. 48 hours later, I’m still waiting on that call back…

09/02/2012 I took my truck to the carwash and bought the $12.00 carwash, after I vacumed my truck. I noticed that the front bumper was still very dirty and the side of my fender had grass clippings still on the side. I went back through the pay lane and and informed the attendant of the problem. A young man came over and I told him the same thing I told the attendant and he told me what did i expect from the car wash. I told him I expected a clean truck. As I tried to explain that the truck was not muddy or extremely dirty he talked over me and said you are not listening to me and proceeded to tell me that I need to tell his personnel to scrub the bumper and the side of the truck. I have never had problems with your carwash in the past and I was really shocked at the service I recieved.

It had been years since I'd been to this Mi-T fine & decided to stop. BIG MISTAKE. $10.99-exterior wash,vaccuum & windows. At vaccuum station I asked & was told trash bag would be dumped. Finished product, outside had water spots, many windows were streaked & dirty,no trash was dumped BUT I did get a rag & 2 bottles of window cleaner left in my vehicle. PEOPLE save your money & aggrivation. Now I know why I usually drive to 635 & Mac Arthur to Kwik Car Wash.

BEWARE of Simoniz Car Wash, 15209 Addison Rd, Addison Tx 75001 Damage was done to the painted bed cover on my GMC truck. As the Simoniz employee was drying the bed cover on my truck he put all his body weight on the fiberglass covers edge causing it to flex, that caused the factory paint to crack under his weight. I completed the Simoniz damage report and several days later was contacted by Mike Katz that he was not going to repair the damage. Mike Katz said that since I drove off their property they were not liable for any damages. I told David there was no visible sign of this Simoniz policy and I was not informed by any Simoniz employees that I had to complete a very through (microscopic) inspection on my truck after the wash. A further note is when I was at Simoniz (completing the claim form) an employee was telling me about other damages that had been done to other autos and how they refuse to repair damages caused by stupid employees. BEWARE If you have your auto cleaned here you better do a very close search of your finish and interior before you drive off their property or you could get screwed like me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
