Because of my long,great history with y'all, I am disappointed in my most recent experience. While repairing the wiper motor there was some collateral damage to a door handle and fuel hose. As the car is over 30 years old, I know that these things happen. However, it is not reassuring to see these issues overlooked. I am not really sure how to rate y'all this time. When I pointed these issues out, y'all were extremely quick to fix them. I appreciate your fast and thorough service and hope to have future great experiences.

Terry Sather Automotive is great and has earned my trust and loyalty over the past several years. They do great work, are honest about which repairs need to be done vs. could be done. On my recent visit, the updates I received from them while my car was in the shop were not as timely, proactive or accurate with pricing as they normally are. They are human and I'll forgive it this time :-)

I always appreciate the awesome customer service and thorough check ups for my Mini Cooper at Terry Sayther. I've never felt that I'm getting an upsell or unnecessary recommendation. I brought my Mini in because it's been "bucking" at different times while I drive (when I accelerate after a turn, or as I'm accelerating up an on ramp, etc). Granted, it's not a consistent issue, but it happens at least once every time I drive, even short distances, and it's concerning to have a car not performing consistently during acceleration. The mechanic couldn't recreate the issue when driving, though they assured me that he took it out on the highway and around several blocks. Maybe it's the classic "now it's not doing it" when you finally bring a car in to get checked, but it started happening again as soon as I drove away (right at the light at Manchaca, 4 blocks away). I don't really trust the onboard computer diagnostics, because regardless of what the computer says, it's scary to have your automatic Mini buck and shake like a poor performing manual shift. Either way, I'll be back in for another check up soon, and maybe we can ignore the computer and get under the hood.

This was an AC unit that was installed about 15 months ago at Terry Sayther's, and which failed. The shop replaced the faulty part without any additional charges, under warranty. As usual, I had no problems whatsoever with the staff or the service. These days, that is saying a lot!

Expansion tank in the coolant system of my BMW 330CiC had a "massive failure" and knowing how catastrophic it can be if a BMW overheats, I had the car towed to Sayther. This was around 4pm on a Monday. By 8:30 am on Tuesday, they'd called with a very reasonable estimate, and had the work completed by COB that day. They also identified a few other items that might need attention in the coming months, but I didn't feel like they were pushing any unnecessary service on me. That's always been my experience, and this was no exception. Thanks for the responsiveness and great care. I won't hesitate coming back to Sayther anytime my car needs service.

Very long time required to compile estimate of services as reseach of proper vehicle parts was needed. Multiple rounds of phone calls and voicemails over several months. The actual service performed was very quick and matched my expectations of the time required. The quality of the service performed appears very good thus far. Mini Repair

My water pump failed and my car stopped functioning. Luckily, it died in a safe area so I did not create a traffic jam. I called Terry Sayther and got the number for the towing service they recommend. The guy came and towed my car and the folks at Terry Sayther got it running again that day. I've used Terry Sayther since I bought my 2004 used Mini Cooper in 2006. They have always been professional, extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and have kept my Mini going all these years.

Motor Swap
