Inspection Procedures

At Sticker Xpress, we strive to be the quickest inspection station in South Texas. Our inspectors are certified with the Texas Department of Public Safety and continuously spend time perfecting their inspection knowledge and skills. All Texas certified inspection stations have to follow the rules and regulations provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety. At Sticker Xpress, we do not deviate from any safety rules that are required. The inspection fee of $7.00 is charged after inspection, regardless if you pass or fail. This is done because the public pays for the inspection, not the VIR. The VIR is issued once a vehicle has completely passed inspection. If a vehicle has failed inspection, the inspector will explain what items have failed and issue a receipt. The receipt explains that once the items have been corrected the vehicle may be presented for a FREE re-inspection (within 15 days).
