failed attempt to get an inspection sticker
Arrived at 945 to get an inspection. was told the woman who did them would be there at 10. I went back at 1020. she wasn't there and was told "give me 30 minutes". the guy was supposedly on the phone with her telling him she was running late....really? he obviously had no clue if or when she was coming in so I blew it off. I have gotten inspections there before and every time the woman is not there for a variety of reasons, including "she's gone down the street to get something to eat", and I have chosen to wait. Not today though. if I try to get an inspection there again I will call first to make sure she is there. shouldn't be that difficult to get an inspection, you know?

Alignment

Lleve mi carro para alineación a este lugar y me dijeron que habían varias partes que se tenían que remplazar porque estaban malas: inners outer pitman idler por lo cual me cobraron mas de $300 Después de que lo saque de ese taller, cuando doy vuelta en u, el carro arrastra una de las llantas de enfrente. Lo lleve de regreso para que lo revisaran y me dicen que todo esta bien y y que es porque las partes son nuevas. (excusa que ni ellos se la creen). Lo lleve a otro lugar de americanos cerca de ahi y les tomo menos de un minuto para darse cuenta del problema. Estas personas sin experiencia de Gers Auto Repair me habían puesto las partes al contrario de como deben de ir. El americano riéndose me dice.....Lo llevaste al lugar que queda en Garland Rd. cerca de Jupiter verdad? Le dije que si. Me dice es que han venido ya muchas personas con el mismo problema acá a mi taller que llevaron su carro a ese lugar antes. Eviten este lugar. Cobran barato pero al final te sale mas caro porque tienes que llevar tu carro a otro lugar y pagar de nuevo para que te dejen las cosas bien. I took my car for alignment to this place and they said that several parts had to be replaced because they were bad inners outer pitman idler for which I was charged over $ 300 They replaced all these parts and did the alignment but now when I make a u turn, the car pulls one of the tires really bad. I took it back to their shop and they tell me that everything is fine and it si because they put new parts (excuse that even a child will not believe) I got tired of their excuses and I took it to another shop near there and it took them less than a minute to realize the problem. These people without experience at Gers Auto Repair installed the parts contrary to how they should go. The mechanic at this second place laughing asked me if It was the place on Garland Rd. Near Jupiter. I told him yes. He said "I have seen already many people with the same problem here in my shop that brought their car to that place and they did the exact thing. Avoid this place. They are cheap but at the end is more expensive because you have to take your car to another place and pay again to fix their mistakes.

Alignment 25$! $700 in parts and labor SCAM.
I changed all my steering components, upper, lower balljoints, pitman arm, idler arm, and they tell me I need to change this before I get an alignment because they are bad. That is the reason I was there. I changed it and wanted to charge me for replacing something I replaced already. Don't go here. Rip off scammers. If you don't know about cars don't go here.

Antifreeze Leak
This business is reliable,trustworthy and easy on the pocket book. I have taken my care there several times. If you are looking for a fancy waiting room with coffee this isn't the place for you but if you are looking for a place that will take care of your car and you at a very reasonable price then go to Ger's on Garland Rd. I have not visited any of the other locations. As a woman I am always nervous about getting work done on my car. I feel confortable here.
