electrical diagnosis on non working radiator coolin fans

The car was kept over at the store with the promise of finding the problem. They performed a diagnosis and found that a fan was not working. They claimed it was a short in the wires that they did not KNOW HOW TO FIND IT. They then referred me to a junky looking place that was supposed to know how to find the short. I took the car to a different chain store and after they checked it, found a fan motor burned out, the plug on the fan motor burned out. They simply replaced all the burned connection and fan. IT worked. This place also could not find any shorts any where in the system. They fixed my problem and even got the temp gauge needle working as it should. The Pebble Hills Store has had my business for tire and basic work for years. With this incompetent action they showed me that I did not rate their best work. I don't understand that. Also, if you leave a car there for repair you can expect it to be held over until late the next day and then only given attention toward the end of the second day. I WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS ANY MORE AT ANY FIRESTONE STORE. ALSO, I will no longer be buying tires at any Firestone Store.
