rebuild transmission
After my experience with them I can not recommend this shop to anyone. warranty is a fraud, newspaper ad is bogus- very rude unprofessional and manipulative. Once you agree on a set price you get there find out almost double price. they never mention on the phone they accept "cash only" that's a red flag. don't sign anything before you very carefully read. example: warranty states that if repairs needed you must pay 150.00 just for him to honor warranty...total fraud. save your money avoid like the plague.

Rebuild transmission service
Again!! I should check reviews first!! I you want your money stolen go to this place, the first 900.00 on a rebuilt, after a drive to Dallas the transmission failed and I end up paying 350.00 for the tow truck service back to Houston. The owner of the shop check the transmission and claim it was my fault for drive it with out checking the fluid. Bullock!!! Then he charge me another 700.00 for repairs and installation. Again cash money only, I want it to use my credit card but they charge 20% more because the card service fees. Is this guy pay any taxes at all? I will follow a consumer complain to the Houston authorities tomorrow.

transmission repair
buyer beware! this place is a nightmare, I first took my 2003 Mazda 6 there in October of 2010, he charged me $1290. for a rebuilt transmission. I have taken it back over ten times for repairs. In July of 2012 he charge me over $680. for repairs saying the fluid was burned, I took it back in January of 2013 because it wouldn't get reverse and Mr. Hernandez checked it and said the sensors were bad and that he would need to drain the fluid and put new gaskets also he said it needed an oil change on it and it would be $200. When I went to pick it up I was dropped of and he told me that I needed cash. I told him I only had $80. cash on me and gave him my drivers license and told him that I would go to the bank a block away to get him the rest of his money. he wanted me to walk to the bank to get it. I told him I could drive my car and he made and old guy that was hanging around the shop ride with me like I was not coming back and he still had my drivers license. I pad him and before I got home the transmission was leaking bad. I called him and he told me to bring it back in the morning. when my wife took it back he told her the transmission was not leaking transmission fluid and it was a power steering leak. I took it to a repair shop and he put it on a lift and there was no power steering leak but transmission fluid all over the place. I called Mr. Hernandez from the shop and had the guy from the repair shop tell him about it. he then told me to bring it back. I then check the oil and it had no oil in it and it stopped on me. Now due to his negligence I'm sure he has damaged my engine... please stay away from this place!

Transmission rebuild
This guy offers a cheap price for transmission rebuild for a short warranty, (NOW I KNOW WHY). I purchased a rebuilt 4L60E about 9 months ago and lost 3rd gear. Called Mr. Hernandez up about warranty issues he said he has a 6 month warranty cant help me. Ok fine no more business from my direction. The real problem was when the transmission I bought from Competition Transmission was taken apart for repair SILICONE was found in the transmission and the gap clearance for 3rd gear (the one that burned up) was to tight. I guess what I am trying to say hear is you get what you pay for these days, people just do not stand behind their work like they used to.
