Emissions

We brought our 2020 Camry in for inspection. We gave him the keys and the insurance card. We were standing outside waiting when he said “Stop staring, I am not going to do anything to your car.” This was odd. My wife and I were talking as we glanced over again. He then says “If you don’t stop watching, then I am going to stop and you can take it somewhere else.” Not even a minute later he says “you can take it somewhere else”. I said “we are just trying to get the inspection done”. He said “my internet is down, I can’t do it”. This guy is a nut. I would advise you to avoid him.

Mommad Masood

This guy is fraud. He first failed my inspection saying I need brake pads. He told me He has a guy who can replace my brake pad for $80.00 provided I get the parts. I went to my auto shop. They told me my brake pads are almost brand new. I went back to Masood and told him I got it fixed. Without checking he passed the inspection. Beware of this guy. He works with other older guy. Both are running this scam.

Vehicle Inspection

I have taken my vehicles to Q Emissions for inspections for quite a number of years. But no more, not after this last inspection. Now I would expect a vehicle to fail inspection if there was something truly wrong with anything that is required to function properly in order to pass inspection. The inspector, Richard Andrade (possibly the owner, I think he has always been there whenever I have stopped by for inspections three times every year, as I have three vehicles), failed one of my vehicles recently because he claimed the parking brake wasn't working properly. It's a pedal you push to set with your foot, and also push to release. He said he had pushed it in several times and could not get it to set, that the pedal would pop right back up to its non-set position. After I questioned him on it, he got in and showed me how he could not get it to set. I then got in and set and released it several times, showing Richard that it did indeed work, which by the way did keep the vehicle from moving forward when put into drive. I then realized what Richard was doing wrong. He was smashing the pedal to the floor as hard as he could, trying to set it, not realizing that by doing what he was doing, he was actually pushing the pedal past the set positions (which can be felt by pedal pressure resistance) and hitting the release. That's why the parking brake didn't set for him; the pedal is not supposed to be smashed to the floor to set it. Some further forward movement of the pedal needs to remain to allow it to be pushed again to release the parking brake. Now here's where the problem I have with Richard really started. When I told him what he was doing wrong, he didn't want to hear any of it. He said he was the inspector and knew what he was doing. I told him he obviously didn't know what he was doing on my particular vehicle, and he didn't like me saying that at all. In the end though, he finally agreed to pass my vehicle, I think because deep down he knew I was right and he w

Vehicle state inspection service

I've been comeing hear for five years, and I have to say these guys are supper fast. I can't complain its a fast and easy place for any one to come and do there inspection on there vehicles. Thy even do motorcycle inspection and older vehicles where you need a Dyno. And before I finish this I would realy like to say that most ppl on hear that say negetive coments are the ones that FAIL the inspection test. So to get back at this guys you all post negetive coment. Grow up and take it, get ur cars fix and stop complain. It does say at the bottom of ur failed paper work that you get "15 Days " to fix ur vehicle and come back to get your free reinspection. So yes please read ur paper work, and yes I failed before for window tint, tires, even a torn seat belt I to was mad but I read my paper got my tint removed tires replaces and replace my seat belt. So yes I will continue to come to Q Emission for the quick and easy service.

Vehicle Inspection

Not only are these guys rude but they are a rip off. My brake light was on and only needed a little brake fluid to fix it. They could see my brake light was on when they started my car but still did the inspection, took my money, and then told me I failed. Also, they didn't tell me I could come back in 15 days with the issue fixed before I left. I took my car to a trusted mechanic and he told me they should not have failed you but if you get this fixed within 15 days they have to reinspect the car for free per Texas State Law. Again, they never told me this. When I brought the pads with a lifetime warranty back to Autozone, they said you didn't really need new pads just as my mechanic said. They were kind enough to honor the warranty and refund my money. When I returned to deal with the rude Asian guy at Q Emissions, he didn't care that his rude African American Associate didn't tell me about the 15 days after telling me my vehicle failed an inspection. When they reinspected my car the African American associate was running his mouth the whole time as I recorded his arrogance on video. No one should ever go to this place. They guys are crooks. This Hispanic guy with a goatee was a jerk as well as said in other comments.

Inspection

The people there are incredibly rude and seem to go out of their way to be incredible jerks to their employees. It seems that Richard (Hispanic guy with a goatee and a bluetooth earpiece) hates his life a lot and takes it out on people after they pay him for the service. But he needs to learn to be nicer to his customers and to not still yell at them after they're walking away. There's a difference between having the last word in an argument and being right ... and even more so with being a tool. Thanks, Richard, for reminding me why I'm thankful for the good things in my life. And you should probably think about shortening your first name, if you know what I mean.

state inspection

The lone service man was VERY RUDE to me before we even got to the inspection, so I asked for his supervisors phone number and he refused. Needless to say, I did not get my inspection done there. BL 2012-07-26
