Brake repair service near Mesquite, TX

If you do take your car to them you will surely regret it after the fact. Please don't fall victim to Dwight & Don's. Trust me they are not at all professional.

I stopped at the Gus Thommason location at 2:30 in the afternoon on Monday, December 3, 2012. The guy at the counter told me that he would have to go and get my tire at the Galloway location. He said that I should bring the car back between 4 and 4:30 and the tire would be there and I was the third on the list. So, as soon as the tire and the car were there, it would be about one hour. I dropped the car off at 3:30 that afternoon, Erwin told me that he had just got back with the tire. My husband and I went back at 6:30 the same day and the car still was not even in the shop yet. I am questioning Erwin and the integrity of this shop. We left there at 6:45 with the tire in the back of the car. It was not even put on the car. I do realize that things come up but when I am told that my car was third on the list at 2:30 and at 6:30 it is not done yet, I think that they need more help there or just do what they say they are going to do. We will not recommend this Firestone shop to anyone unless they have more help so they can do what needs to get done. Lisa

Mobile brake service.

I have a Porsche 911 turbo transmission that has a known defect. Porsche does not warrant the problem an according to them there is no fix. Their guidelines are to replace the transmission. 18,000 dollars. I found Joe and eurofix on a Porsche forum where another owner had his transmission fixed by them. I called Joe and he said he could repair my car. It is not easy to transport a car to mechanic 700 miles away but Joe's confidence and professionalism put me at ease. I was blown away. Chris was the gentleman that came out to look at my brakes on a Lexus IS250. I have a squeaking noise that happens at the end of the breaking. I was prepared to spend what their quote told me I was going to spend which was a great price to begin with. After he looked at my car, he stated a brake job was not needed. He did state that the reason there was a squeaking noise was due to the rotors on the front had a groove in them due to they should have been replaced when the brakes were done. He stated that I had up to a year left on the pads and that he would recommend waiting until then to do so. He did not want to make me spend my hard earned money until I had to to fix the problem. I have never had a repairman tell me not to do work to my car. Fair, Honest, and punctual. I will call these guys when it is time to do my brakes in the future. They looked out for my interest not just theirs. Rare in today's world.

There is a one star rating on here that references a completely different shop so ignore the rating for Dallas Car Care, but read it to know where not to go. THESE GUYS ARE HARD TO BEAT. 100% recommend them.

I just had my BMW 750LI taken for diagnosis to Bimmer Repair. Its owner Jose is a young guy but very honest - which is a rare to find quality in auto repair work. My car was giving me a transmission failure message - he checked it , cleared all faults , and found nothing wrong with the system . Thoguh the car is still under monitoring to see if the issue comes back - Jose's upfront honesty is what touched me. I wish his great success in his newly started venture and he has got a customer in me for life!

We all know how expensive service and maintenance fees can be at a dealership, that's why I recommend Bimmers Only. I took my 6 Series Convertible to them for a diagnostic test. I wanted peace of mind knowing that everything was functioning properly with my car as well as my car had no mobility kit. Not only did they check my car for me at no cost, but they also got a mobility kit (the right one that goes tucked away) for my car. The other thing that really stood out for me is that they know BMW's inside out and are very experienced and knowledgeable about them. I have been using Sandor's Overseas for years, and there is nobody else out there I would trust with my volkswagon. Any time I go to the dealership, they would quote me outrageous prices and recommended unreasonable repairs. I only go to Attila for my repairs now, and his honest workmanship is an A+. The prior negative review must be from somebody who is totally confused or wants to get something for nothing. SANDORS OVERSEAS IS THE BEST PLACE IN THE DFW.
