Nearly sold us a pile
Thankfully I am one of the lucky ones that did NOT end up buying a car from Innovative Motors in Lindon. We had a purchase agreement written up and were at the bank getting the check when they sold the vehicle we thought was ours. A simple phone call would've saved us a lot of hassle. Their explanation when we showed up with check in hand is that they were "Frustrated" with us since admittedly we took the time to have our mechanic look the vehicle over before we made our decision. They were so nice to begin with and then such creeps..so glad I don't have to deal with them any further, I can't imagine if there were warranty issues. I should thank them, they saved us a lot of stress I'm sure with their rust laden cars they buy from back east.

Purchased a car from them
NEVER buy a Car from Innovative Motors in Lindon Utah. We bought our Honda Fit from them in June. I asked Jason several times if the car had ever been in an accident, they said no, the carfax was clean. They sold it to me with 3 different sizes of tires and it took pulling teeth for them to pay for the right size of used tires. But that was just the beginning. I had to replace an AC condenser since a rock hit it and while doing it found that basically the entire front end of the car had been rebuilt. Carfax wasn't right so I purchased and AutoCheck report and saw that Innovative motors bought it at auction where it was announced as having FRAME DAMAGE. So they knew it had been rebuilt and lied to my face about it. Now they won't take it back. They said they would buy it back for $1k less then what we paid, but wouldn't get our dealer fees and sales tax back. So we'd be out $3k if we did that. Now we are stuck with a car that is worth about $4k less then we paid for it. They say they didn't do anything wrong and i "still got a good deal" When I bought it they said it had a $14,000 trade in value... wrong! w/ the frame damage it is more like $5 or $6k. I've filed a complaint w/ the state and they will investigate. But I am so upset. They took total advantage of us. So, PLEASE save yourself some heart ache and never go to INNOVATIVE MOTORS in Lindon Utah.
