An update on the saga of dealing with Al's. The transmission is leaking. Took it to Aamco, they said it will be $380.00 to fix. Took it to Al's today. He tightened some of the bolts and we have to take it to him again in two weeks. Al's gave another 30 days on the original warranty that is almost up. I feel it will be a lifetime of going back and forth to Al's with a broken transmission in the future. For lack of a better word, I think we're screwed. So if you want a year of back and forth, no warranty and hassles, Al is you're man.

Took the truck in for a tranny in March, it did not work right. Took it back in in the spring and they kept it three weeks and they drove it between 300 and 350 miles. I'm sure they would have driven it more, but they had emptied the gas tank. They said nothing was wrong with it. It broke again 12/08/2010. Had it towed in, they kept it for 20 days. Got it back finally, and they broke the tailgate and will not own up to it. Be warned, if you go there, your an idiot like me.
