Family Owned and Operated AAA Approved Auto Repair. Serving the Fairfax and surrounding area since 1987, we specialize in all major and minor mechanical repairs - all makes and models. From an oil change to an engine replacement, we do it all. Brakes, exhaust, 4 wheel alignments, tires, fluid flushes, regularly scheduled and factory scheduled maintenance, custom exhaust, electrical repairs, check engine light diagnostics, re-flashing, brake line replacement, fuel tank repairs/ replacement, custom welding / alterations; you name it, we do it. Tim knew he wanted to fix cars since he was very young. He always took things apart and put them back together as a child — clocks, bikes and then cars. His first car was a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner, and he had to rebuild the motor in it. He did all the machine work himself with a little help. He took auto mechanics in high school and had a great shop teacher at Lake Braddock High School. Just a few minutes talking to Tim and you will feel comfortable with him as your mechanic. He is sincere, caring, and honest. He will always treat you as family and your vehicle as he would his own.

Excellent Service - five stars. They tell you what is wrong - fix it and don't try to add on any other items - say like those $75 wiper blades :) Will use again - my go to place for car repair.

I had a particularly tough problem with the fuel tank of my Jaguar. Unfortunately, Jag no longer makes new fuel tanks for the vehicle and we could not find one on the after-market. So Charlie and team came up with an innovative solution and the car is back on the road again. They are great folks at ABS—and they did a wonderful job for me!

I had an exhaust leak and with both of my state inspections due within a week. I called to make an appointment, and ABS was able to look at my car the next day. I dropped it off in the morning, and then by the time I got to work Charlie called me to let me know the plan for fixing the leak, as well as some maintenance tasks that were not critical to my inspection but would need attention down the line. I did not feel pressured or talked down to, we agreed on the work to be done, and I went back to pick up my car that afternoon, with the leak repaired and both inspections passed. I'm really happy with the professionalism, efficiency, and friendliness from everyone I spoke to and I plan to come back the next time I need work done.

ABS Unlimited Auto Repair has a ma and pa shop personalized feel with competitive prices. I take my vehicle into ABS Unlimited Auto Repair shop, they diagnose the issue, make recommendations, provide me with a quote and fix the issue in a timely manner; what is not to like? After not being there for at least 6 months, the owner, Tim, referenced something we spoke about during my last visit. What I appreciate the most, is that they don't force any repairs on me. They tell me what needs to be done, and let me decide without pressuring me.
