NONE! is lesters first name Mo?

I was on a trip to Florida from Ohio. Noticed some smoke coming from the car so I stopped at the gas station up the hill. I was suggested to Lesters, so I rolled the car down the hill. I was driving a car not worth more than 1200 dollars or so. Some kid working there said "yeah go ahead and pull it in and ill take a quick look." I pulled the car in and he proceeded to tell me I needed all new brakes, and hardware. I asked for an estimate and wasnt given one. They took the car for a quick drive down the road and came back smoking horribly. As he pulled it back up the driveway, transmission fluid was leaking heavily from underneath. We knew the transmission needed repaired/replaced at that point. Lesters offered us a ride to the hotel 10 minutes away. We took them up on their offer since we had nothing else at this point and it was after all rental places were closed. I tipped the driver $10 for bringing us up the hill. I had to insist on the driver taking the tip. We decided it wasnt worth replacing the transmission since the car is only worth about $1200. We called Lesters and told them. They offered us $150 for the car... HA! We called a local junkyard and they offered us about $430 for scrap! Way better than Lesters offer. I called Lesters back and asked them if they could tow the car up the road to the scrap yard. They said sure.... for $75!!! I said no, the car is already at your shop you dont have to drive to go get it, it shouldnt be that much. So I called another tow company that agreed to go get the car from Lesters pick the car up and take it to the junkyard for $50. I called Lesters back to let them know and they told me they wont release the car since we didnt pay them for their 10 minute "quick look" service or for dropping us off at the hotel!!! WHAT!?!?! I gave their driver a tip that I forced him to take, I was at their shop for 4 hours and not once did they say they were charging me for anything or hand me an invoice or bill or anything, but now that

brake lines

We called at 7:30 am they told us to come right over. We were there before 8 when they came & said they could look at it at 9:30. We waited all day until 3:30 till they started on it. Charged us $198. for 30 minutes work. Very poor customer service! The parts cost $10. and my husband helped bleed the brakes! We were on our way home in PA from FL in a motorhome. They knew we had another 6 hours of driving ahead of us.
