I've been taking our vehicles to Wards Corner Shell for years and it's the only place I trust with our vehicle maintenance. I have consistently had exceptional service and fair treatment. When other mechanics have inflated the repair issues with our vehicles, Wards Corner Shell has always been upfront and honest about what we really need, and what we don't. As a military spouse and mother of three, it's important to me that I trust my service providers and Wards Corner Shell has always gone above and beyond

I took my truck to this shop from the recommendation of a friend and the mechanic was AWESOME! He diagnosed my issue without charging me a huge fee and then when it came time to do the job he got it done the same day! He also checked a couple of other issues for me and gave me some price estimates so I could plan appropriately for those. I would recommend JM Auto to everyone!

Over filled my car with oil. Wont be going back

I spent the money to take my car to get it diagnosed by this group of guys. It just happens to be close to where I live and easily accessible from Monticello. I thoroughly explained symptoms of my car to the gentlemen, and they came back and said that my water pump must not be working and that they had 2 of their techs both arrive at the same idea. What kind of techs cant trace a coolant leak to a HOLE in a hose. They tried to quote me almost 700 dollars to fix the timing and water pump because it needed it. Had another company look at it..they immidiately told me I had a hose leak, and that my thermostat was stuck shut. Cost to fix around $85, and What do you know..it was fixed. I HATE scam artist, and I HATE mechanics shops that try to get over on PEOPLE. I will make sure my friends and the rest of NSU and ODU student know to NEVER trust this shop. I just hope I saved one person from spending WAY more then needed from a dishonest Mechanic. I'm Beyond angry that they blatantly tried to scam me. Typical worthless , unreliable, dishonest Car Mechanics Shop. The PLUS is for plus we'll try to catch gullible people who believe us and take your whole paycheck

Please dont waste your money going to that place . If you dont have a new car dont go there . They will rip you off . Even if there is nothing wrong with you they will show you 1000 problems. I went there to do an inspection for my car 1999 altima . which had no apparent problem . They gave me 10 different problems and asked me to do a 600 dollar maintenance , basically asking me to change the light bulbs ,cleaning,rear tail light lens changes and what not...

While my car was in his shop he drove it thru the Portsmouth tunnel, he said to match the headlight. I got the bills because it is my car, he admitted it was him that made the charge. I sent him every bill I got, now its been sent to a collection agency. I cannot renew my license plates that expire the end of this month until its paid. For awhile he gave me excuses, then it was flat out lies. Now he is ghosting me. He owns his shop, I live on social security month to month. He was my trusted mechanic for 16 years. He used to say I wasn't just a customer I was a friend, with friends like that I don't need enemies. I would have given him 0 stars but not an option.

Dewitts has impressed me with every visit. The employess are courteous, professional and knowledged. They treat you like family. The mechanics are professionally certified, knowledged and honest. The facilities are clean, well organized and with the numerous pieces of automobile memorabilia, an enjoyable experience. Pricing is fair and with the amount of bussiness they do, customers are obviously satisfied. Dewitts is located in a rural setting in Isle of Wight County, but if you can make the drive, you will find an automobile service center you will use for life. I would recommend Dewitts to anyone looking for a dependable, honest and fair automobile service center. I am lucky, I live nearby.

STAY AWAY!!!! Was going to get brakes done but he offered to install brakes from a totally different make and model that "should work fine" Wanted money up front and there is no way those parts would fit or even bolt up to the car.

Carl had my vehicle for over a year. I paid up front $2500 back in February 2016. I contacted Carl several times over the course of a year and each time there were several excuses as to why the vehicle had still not been repaired. After taking him to court and several non kept promises to return either my vehicle or the money that I paid up front we have now reached the two year anniversary since I handed over possession of my vehicle. The court sentenced Mr. Carl to return my funds back as well as the car back in July 2017 and he has avoided all phones calls since this date. This has been the worst experience and I would NEVER recommend this shop. PLEASE GO ON YELP FOR TWO RECENTLY POSTED REVIEWS WITH THE SAME TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!

I was impressed with the professionalism of the employees at this location from the start. No high pressure sales, no up-selling, just the facts. They cut me a great deal and I plan to use them again.

My car took twice as long as I was originally told. This is understandable because it was only an estimate. But after seeing the work they had done for the time spent on the car was unbelievable. My car sat disassembled for nearly a week. The body work was done on the rear of the car (took 2 days) but the front remained untouched for 2 weeks. The total time spent on the car was over 2 months. When I finally got my car back the bumper did not fit right. They tried to pass it off on me by saying that's how it’s supposed to look. There were scratches in the NEW and OLD paint (scratches were on the roof where no damage was done...) that were not there before going in the shop. The painter missed the entire bottom half of the bumper's clear coat! After some debate a new bumper was ordered, and fit much better. The paint on the second bumper again had scratches and had missing clear coat. After it was repainted everything seemed to be fine with the car. 3 months later I find sensors that were never put back where they were supposed to be. As for the customer service, the manager is rude uncooperative and cussed at me on more than 1 occasion. He went back on what he said multiple times, told me that I lied to him, and talks to me like I am a piece of dirt. The front desk ladies are kind of helpful; they don't really know what’s going on but get enough information to answer your questions. Based on the quality of the body work, paint and customer service I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to this place.
