wheel bearings
This guy (Steve the owner) is very condescending and offensive. I could overlook this if he was knowledgeable. Unfortunately he was wrong about almost everything. He said that my brakes were obsolete and that they had not been manufactured in years (I'd just done a conversion at another shop 6 mo's earlier). He told me that I could not take the boat down to the launch to get the weight off the trailer because the axle would bottom out. He was wrong...I towed it and launched the boat. Then, I pulled the trailer to a qualified mechanic. His only logic for why I should pay him $1400 to bolt parts to this trailer was that my boat is very expensive and so I could afford it. Apparenly he wasn't aware of the fact I have a nice boat because I don't let people who don't want to work for their money try to rip me off or free load. He missed his guess on just how "stranded" I was. Did I mention he's a rude jerk?

I have had a HORRIBLE experience with the repairs performed by this shop. I was RIPPED OFF!!! I took my car in for a "low coolant" light on. After spending almost $1,200 I now have a *new* radiator yet I'm now STRANDED over 150 miles from home because the car is overheating. I was also talked into installing new back brakes when the car did NOT need them. I took the car back to the owner afterwards and he just wanted me to "come back in for more tests". My car is now dangerous because it WON'T STOP. I just found out through a brake shop it that it now needs a different part for the brakes! My car stopped perfectly BEFORE the work was done by Auto Depot. After forking over all this money for *repairs*, now I can't afford to have someone competent to fix the issues properly and I'm 150 miles away from home. Needless to say, I am one UNHAPPY (and now broke) customer! ~ Lori Letts
