engine rebuild
have had the same experience with this shop they gave me a quote to rebuild a engine and a time of when it was supposed to be done. it took them 6 weeks instead of 3 weeks to finish the job and the price was hundreds of dollars more then he said it would be and he never told me why it was more I will not recommend him to anyone and I advice everyone to stay away from him because he is a thieve

Harley Davidson Cylinder Head
I took in a Single head from my XL 883 Harley Davidson to replace two valves and two guides. The head had less than 5000 miles however one of the pistons came loose and bent the valves. I told them not to grind the seats because I could do this myself. The quote was, "It should be around $120.00 give or take a few dollars. I waited for a couple weeks and it was taking longer than expected. They finally informed me the head was done however, it was $240.00 plus tax to get it back. I said "What?" He said, "oh we did a valve grind and milled the head too while we were at it. I reminded them what was said about the valve grinding and told them I NEVER asked for the head to be milled! They have my head and it is being held for ransom. My suggestion is all motorcycle riders beware of this shop. If given a chance you will pay more than an agreed upon price. They refuse to fix a wrong so just beware, you are now informed.
