Auto repair service near Corona, AZ

My girlfriend’s car broke down on the way to the lake, so AAA towed us to this repair shop. We did know it was the alternator that was shot and possibly more, but when we were quoted $270 for just the part (not including labor) from O'Reilly, we knew we were about to get taken for a ride. They must have thought we had stupid written across our foreheads. We decided not to go with their service and had the car towed home. We went to O'Reilly's and got the part we needed for $170 "which was their most expensive" and did the work ourselves. Fortunately that was the only problem and the car was fixed for under $200. If this is the same shop with the Sinclair gas station; (I’m almost certain it is) then we can’t help but wonder how much the total would have been. Do yourself a big favor to your checkbook and stay away!!

John has always been honest and has never done more than necessary on our Sport Trac and Sonata. We thought the Sonata was dead with 130K miles and needing repair. John convinced us that the Sonata engines are built to last and did the repairs for a reasonable price. We've got almost 170K miles now and it runs like a champ. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I had no problem when I got my tranny fixed, but my warranty and my mileage has not expired yet. It is slipping and may need some minor work, but the phone number that is listed, seems to be disconnected. I would hate to think I threw away $2,000 and can't get it fixed. If they closed down, then,"Oh well". But if not, please list the new number. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lamar.

LOVE these guys! They did quality job that five other mechanics wanted 3600-5000. This shop charged me less than half of the total. We essentially had to replace half the engine. Trustworthy and understand that our vehicles are our lifeline to our lives. Very professional, treated my car and myself like family. Screw the other guys, Surprise Auto is my new mechanical home!
