Auto repair service near Berenda, CA

I called to ask about a single repair cost and was immediately treated like I was an idiot. The man who answered began telling me about other things that would possibly need to be repaired once he "got in there". I said that I was only interested in hearing the cost of the actual repair I called about and was told "that's fine if you just want the car to run for half a year". Why would I risk going to this place. I guess I would be an idiot if I went there since he is letting me know upfront that he will be "finding other repair costs". No thanks!

I love my VW, BUT the Clovis VW garage is terrible. Every time my car leaves from there, I find that something else is broken... something that was working fine when I handed them the keys. It took 3 visits to fix a headlight (one time they even ziptied it on) and on the way home, oh the grill comes off and shatters all over the road. They fumble around to fix one thing and they break something else. Bring it back so they can fix what they broke, and they break something else. The last straw was the seat heater. I brought it back so they could fix the seat heater switch that they broke while fixing something else(which by the way is right next to the parking sensor switch), and on the way out of the parking lot discover the parking sensors acting all funny. Bring it back again and "Oh we're not taking responsibility for that". Hmmm. I am never going back there and would not recommend their garage to anybody.

They have the worst service ever. Even for a low class auto dealership. They lie, they steal your money!!I called them to get pre- approved for a vehicle. I faxed over check stubs and all my information. They told me that I qualified that I needed $1,000 down. I took the money and when I gave it to Eleno he told me that there was a problem. that I had to go the next day. I went and they wanted to sell me the CAR THAT THEY WANTED. I told them to just give me my money or I was going to call the police. Eleno told me that I didn't have proof or receipts but I was recording everything on my cell. So he told me to go the next day to pick up a check. They had me waiting 8 hrs waiting for my check.

We had an oil change done at Midas on 9-12-17. On 3-17-18 after only 1600 miles on the oil change the filter fell off the car. We had to have our car towed to Lithia Ford where they informed us the oil filter fell off as it was not the correct filter for our car. Ford Found the filter laying on a panel that protects the engine. Midas installed a Napa Filter Part Number 21358 and our 2015 Ford Fusion requires Part 21348MP. Midas Manager Chris Perkins said the filter had no damage and so they are not liable. OK I agree there is no damage, so explain how an oil filter falls off a car then. Chris said there is no explanation. I can explain, Ford sent us pictures showing Midas had installed the wrong Part. We even went as far as go to Napa and get a quote for a filter for our vehicle to see the part number. Again Midas put the wrong part on our car. I have contacted Midas Corporate offices as this is a Franchize. I have also filed a report with bureau of automotive repair, and will be filing with consumer affairs. In addition I will also file a small claims to get a judgement for out of cost expenses and replacement of damaged car parts. I just want other out there that have issues with the Midas in River Park to file claims themselves. We tried to work with resolving this issue but Midas decided to not fix the issue. Worst car buying experience of my life ! Have been lied to from day one, promises never kept. They promised to fix a few things when I bought it, it took over 2 weeks of me calling for them to finally get my car in, they had my car for over 2 weeks, and everyday they said it would be done tomorrow, I finally asked for a rental and they gave me one that barely drove, finally got my car back and they did nothing to it, everything they promised to fix wasn't and their mechanic stole our stuff from inside our car! Also I have never received my license plates and its been over a month! Don't buy a car here you will regret it, I do!

This is by far one of the worst businesses i have ever encountered with. They say one thing and do the opposite! i should have looked up their reviews!!! they promised to do things on the car that i had purchased, and kept avoiding fixing the problems!!! these men think that women that come alone are easy targets to scam! they are nice to you when they want to sell u a car, but then after, they want to treat u like scum! I highly DONT recommend them!!! they even charged me way above the kelly blue book for my car! im telling you, these men are crooks and they are dishonest!

These people took $$$$ from me to transfer title of a vehicle I purchased. I have still not received the DMV title documents and their phone is now disconnected and there is no forwarding number.
