Auto repair service near Laguna Niguel, CA

I've been going here for a bit now since I moved into the area and don't plan on going anywhere else. No-pressure shop that's owned and operated by car guys who combine their passion with their work and are there to help you with whatever you throw their way.Turnaround time has always been as-quoted or sooner, prices are great, employees are super friendly (Steve is all smiles all the time), and I've always gotten great recommendations from them for things they don't specialize in. Definitely worthy of 5 stars!

WARNING: HomeTown Motors by MEBray at Citysearch too bad I could not give this dump minus stars! This place was a horrible experience. I found a beautiful Jag there. Drive it and fund many things wrong with it, however they promised to make it right. We made the deal and they said my financing was aproved. I had the car about 3 days and it was awsome. I went in to get it fixed and they said that was suddenly an issue with my financing. they took the car back. Of course I was very upset. then about a week latter they called one of my references to get a hold of me. they had been able to secure the financing. I called them right away. I spoke to CID. He said the finance people were in and approved my app on the spot. he asked me if I still wanted the car and of course I did. He said to come and pick it up, it was all mine. I paid for the insurance and accessories. I made it in at about 5:00pm the next day. I was told that suddenly for soem reason they could not explain my financing was turned down. This is less than 24 hours latter. However he said I could pick out another car on his lot and he would sell that one to me. I said No I came here to purchase the Jag. He went into the backroom with his buddies for about a half hour to "call the bank" after about 30 min he came back out and said my down payment had to now be 7500.00 on a 14,000 car, This is up from $4500 the day before. and it had to be in CASH. I was outraged and left. I called back about 30 min latter and I aske him what day he lied. yesterday or today. He gave me some crappy answer and I hung up. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, here and a few more. I am not going to stop until they make this right.

Advantage Automotive diagnosed my problem, explained the repair needed and had the job done in the time and cost quoted. After being told I needed brakes at another automotive shop Advantage Automotive blew out the brake dust which stopped the squeaking and told me I had another 40K miles left. This shop seems to be looking for long term clients as they didn't go after the quick money selling me brakes I didn't need. I recommend Advantage Automotive. Philip Piel, Canyon Lake

Dave was awesome from the very first time we called, all the way to the final day of completion. He is the best! Dave is very honest, trustworthy and a man of his word. His shop is very clean and hard working. They are so good, it's like a NASCAR Pitcrew handle your vehicle's needs. They take pride in their work and make you feel great and relieved to put your vehicle in such expert hands. Zach the mechanic was amazing and professional. He met with my Dad and brother and showed them the old engine and was very courteous and professional. It was an all around Amazing experience! Canyon Lake Auto is the best shop around, period. Excellent and friendly customer service and professionalism guaranteed! Quickly diagnosed and repaired my vehicle in a very timely manner from start to finish. I am very happy with the investment and will continue to use Canyon Lake Auto for any future repairs. Great shop very helpful quick service highly recommend

Went to get my A /C recharged. The guy tells me that it's holding pressure, but two valves are leaking. (What?). Tell's me my cabin filter is totally clogged. ( Just changed it two months ago, checked in parking lot after they were done, it wasn't ) $330 later, he tells me it is working fine now and is 32 degrees colder, but I won't notice today because it's not that warm out. I was watching these guys working on my car, when they were supposedly working, and I really don't think they did a thing. I would not take any vehicle here again, in fact I would like to take them to small claims court. They are committing fraud in my opinion. BEWARE!!!
