Should have read the Reviews First on What A Deal. February 2015 walked in to purchase a Chevy S10 Pick Up and Kelly approved financing with $1500 down. After signing the contract with Michelle she advised would have to rewrite the contract when the bank finalizes the interest, so I didn't get a copy but did get a receipt from Kelly for the down payment. Well the motor gave up 3 days prior to the 30 day warranty. Kelly said he would take care of it by installing another motor. Well its been over a month, and I have not been able to contact anyone... left various messages and emails. Been going by on a daily basis and found him there today 3/21/15 12:30pm. He told me to get off his property because it was closed and he was calling the police... He stated business went wrong and is moving has no money to return the down payment or fix the truck. Would like to gather everyone that has had the bad experience with What A Deal (current and past google reviews) to file the complaint with the bar to help others not to fall in this situation and prevent the approval to do business elsewhere.

Dave was awesome from the very first time we called, all the way to the final day of completion. He is the best! Dave is very honest, trustworthy and a man of his word. His shop is very clean and hard working. They are so good, it's like a NASCAR Pitcrew handle your vehicle's needs. They take pride in their work and make you feel great and relieved to put your vehicle in such expert hands. Zach the mechanic was amazing and professional. He met with my Dad and brother and showed them the old engine and was very courteous and professional. It was an all around Amazing experience! Canyon Lake Auto is the best shop around, period. Excellent and friendly customer service and professionalism guaranteed! Quickly diagnosed and repaired my vehicle in a very timely manner from start to finish. I am very happy with the investment and will continue to use Canyon Lake Auto for any future repairs. This place is not good!!!! Biggg..... SCAMMERS! My husband and I bought a car a few months back and 2 days later it broke down,they then gave us the run around about it not working and trying to get us into another car , they said that we had to get a car with them because if not we would lose our 3000.00 down so we were obligated at this point . We didn't want to lose our 3000.00 . anyhow about nearly 2 months later we get financed for another car and something we did not want by far, then about 3 weeks later they repo it unanounced like no phone calls why they took our car no correspondance by mail , nothing! I call the finance company (West lake financial) they said that Empire auto in San Jacinto had cancelled out the contract with wlf and asked how they could do that if they had already financed us they said they've been having problems with this dealership cancelling out customers finance contracts and keeping their down payments. Talk about Shady !!!! If you buy a car from here but hopefully you dont be careful!! also this was very good info for me but if this has happened to you , you need to fill out a complaint form with the california dmv investigation . You can find them on dmv online or call the dmv. They are not regular dmv reps these guys even carry guns they're like cops and also work closely with calif highway patrol.

HE SOLD MY DAUGHTER A CAR THAT WAS MESSED UP WHEN WE BOUGHT IT WE BOUGHT THE CAR MARCH 28 2013 AND STILL DON'T HAVE THE CAR AND JOHN SAID THEY WERE GOIN TO FIX IT BUT IT'S BEEN MONTHS SO NOW WE HAVE A LAWYER BECAUSE I REFUSE TO TAKE THAT SHIT FORM ANYONE PAYING A CAR NOTE ON A CAR YOU DON'T HAVE IS B.S.AND IT'S GOING TO BE JULY AND STILL NO CAR.... I had to take 2 cars in last week. Not only were they fast, but honest! As a female, it's tough to find an honest mechanic that won't overcharge for services. They courteous, on time with both cars and came in a smidge under both estimates!! Would absolutely recommend them!!! Heather Bruno Tutton

I took a 2004 Kia Optima to AER quite a while ago. I did some shopping around asking other Mechanic shops for prices and what they do. I settled with AER because they gave reasonable prices. After i left them the car, it took them maybe 2 days to call me back and tell of the additional parts my car needed and gave me a revised estimate. It was a bit more that i had thought it would be but i agreed to continue with the work. Starting from day one, it took them a little less than two weeks to repair my Kia. To this day I have not had any problems with them. Thank you AER for a great service.

I brought my BMW Z4 here and had excellent service! The entire experience was positive. They are upfront with costs, and I paid less than what they estimated. I saved $1000.00 from the dealer's quote. I was able to talk directly with the mechanic and the owner. They really care about providing quality service and making sure the customer is happy. A few days after the repairs were completed, my car began stalling so I called them. The issue was not related to what they had done, but they came and rescued me from the side of the road, took the car in, found the problem, repaired it and only charged me for the part. No labor charge! I highly recommend Schnider Motors for your BMW repairs!!! I know I will definitely return for any and all of my BMWs service.

I was financing a car with a salesman at Kar max named Mohamed. He changed the price of the car, he Did not provide me with any type of paperwork concerning the vehicle, accepted payments and illegally and unlawfully repossessed my vehicle with out giving me paperwork letting me know the reason he was doing so. He accepted payments and still illegally repossessed my vehicle. They have no values at this lot and I regret the day I decided to do business with Mohamed at Kar max in Pomona at 222 Holt ave. Buyer be ware!!!!!!!!! I would never advise anyone to conduct business with someone so in scrupulous!
