I am relatively new to the Tehachapi are. A good, honest car mechanic is one of the necessary professionals that one needs to find. (Along with a doctor, dentist, lawyer, accountant.) I went to Don's ProTech because everyone I asked around town all gave them high ratings. I was pleased to find that all the word of mouth reviews were accurate. I found them to be honest, courteous and communicated with me during the day so I always knew the status of my repair. Don's ProTech is now my preferred mechanic in Tehachapi. Had a check engine light that kept coming on for my ABS, P&N took care of it right away for a very reasonable charge, check engine light is off now and car is 100% once again. They know their stuff, great experience.

i went to pep boys by my house, my husband has gone there for years. I went down and the service mgr helped me on purchasing 4 new tires and balance. I paid for and was scheduled to come back 2 days later as they had to order the tires from warehouse. I went in on a friday and it took about 3 hours... when i got home after getting my vehicle, i noticed my chrome caps were missing and i had 4 plastics caps on each tire. I just paid 670.00 for 4 tires and balancing and you switch my chrome caps for plastic ones. I called and spoke to service mgr and told him where's are my chrome caps........ He said come back in and i will give you a set. It's the principal of the deal. IT'S NOT THEIR DECISION for them to switch out, i brought my vehicle with them on i expect to drive off with them. That's just wrong.......
