Had my transmission replaced have to get redone about 1 year later

Don at Chet's is the greatest mechanic a driver could ask for. Despite other shops in the past making recommendations for service that were totally not necessary, I have found an honest mechanic in Don and his staff. If you are in the slightest hesitation whatsoever as to where to go for an honest estimate and high quality work, rest assured you have found a safe haven at Chet's.

This place is SO TINY! I wish he would move. BUT Raul, does great work! He blended my black SUV from front fender to door and it looks great! Martin Senour Paint. OMGOSH it looks so good and you couldnt beat the price. Thanks you Raul. PS I hope you move to a bigger place. You have to much work going on in that little place. (i Guess thats a good thing though) =)

GREAT GREAT GREAT place. Need a part. They got it and if they dont they will. They do EVERYTHING at this place. I was there getting some paint (martin Senour Automotive Paint) and in the back they were rebuilding a motor. Wow! And they were so busy as if the whole town goes there. I didnt know what parts I needed so the lady, yes a woman (U go girl) went out and took a look. They had it all in stock. Then I was getting paint (Chuck) went out and got the color code and made me my paint right there. He even told me places i could go to get it all done at. NOW this is service! 10 Stars for this place. Thank you Thank you. Oh yes and the shop was great the paint matched perfectly =)

We've had both of our cars into James Paulk Auto Body for both major and minor repair. Last time we took our car there on our own dime because the repair was less than our deductible. Someone had punched the door lock out and a hole through the sheet metal by the door handle in a (fortunately) failed attempt to break in. James thought he'd need to replace the entire door handle and lock, but once he got into the repair, found the handle could still be used, saving us a fourth of the cost. As long as he was painting a portion of the door, we asked him to fill some parking lot dings, which he did at little added cost. When we happened to complain about the car's opaque headlights, he offered to replace them for us. I'd tried myself but I couldn't figure out how they were mounted. We wanted headlights better than OEM quality, and he found us higher end headlights that he got for us at less than retail price. We were much happier with the car when James finished. The door lock not only worked, but the dings were gone, and we could actually see the road at night once again. James is always looking out for his customers.

Honestly, I am impressed with the care Ohana gave to my 2015 Acura RLX with 40,000 miles on it. I have lived in Stockton since 1975 and been to many auto shops over the years. Go in and meet RJ you will find right off the bat he doesn't play games. He only will do work on a vehicle according to the factory maintenance that's required by the manufactures book. I tried to cut corners on the lubricant used he showed me why not to do that and said he could only do it the right way I greatly appreciated the education. I am a very critical person and trust has to be earned with me. Ohana is the only shop I will take my Acura or Chevrolet 3500 Silverado 1 ton Dually to. give them a try they have EARNED my trust their prices are very reasonable too that's always a plus. My Acura is a expensive luxury car and Ohana returned it to me with no oil smears clean and windows washed. I appreciated that very much. very pleased client Michael Gomez

I never do reviews but this is one I want to do. It's rare these days to find people with integrity and honestly like I found here. They give you an estimate and never go over it. The quality of the work is unsurpassed. I had them recommended to me, and now I will recommend them to everybody else. You won't find better mechanics and ownership anywhere.

Dear Joe I am the business owner not him. I've been in business many years and I'm sorry that you had a disappointing experience. That person is no longer employed at the shop. If you get a chance please stop by the shop and ask for the owners number and I will try to do my best to change your opinion about Platinum Smog. I only want satisfied and happy customers. I am not a dishonest person nor do I want my shop to reflect dishonest workers and I'm thankful for your post.

Nice guy but work was not great. Looked like there was no clear on my car. He said he used a dupont paint.... I didnt even know what that means until I asked a friend. I guess a cheap paint. =(

ROGER WILL TELL YOU THAT HIS CARS ARE THE BEST AND THAT THEY ALL RUN GREAT NEVER HAD PROBLEMS. BUT THAT IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR CAR AFTER BUYING IT THAT HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU AND THE CAR. ROBBED HER FOR A 900 DOLLARS THAT YOU POCKETED AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT THAT HER CAR WOULDN'T START. YOU TOLD HER TO LEAVE OR THAT YOU WOULD CALL I.N.S ON HER. I WAS A WITNESS TO THAT I JUST WISH SHE WOULD HAVE CALLED THE COPS ON YOU FOR SAYING THAT TO HER. SHE COULD HAVE SUED YOU AND I WISH SO BAD SHE WOULD. BACAUSE IMMAGRANT OR NOT YOU DO ILLEGAL WORK MAKING FAKE I'D'S, ISN;T THAT RIGHT ROGER? MAYBE

My experience with the service dept was very bad. The factory recall repairs caused major problems and major anxiety because they made our van's brakes lock up and the vehicle to stall blocks from the dealer. Had to bring it back, hoping they fix it and hoping there is no damage.
