Auto repair service near Sutter Island, CA

MY daughter is stationed at Travis AFB. I am in SC ( 3000 miles away ). But when she has a problem she calls immediately. Her transmission was dying. I found Edco on a google search for transmission repair, along with a few others. Edco is well documented in the find a business type search engines so I called them and talked with Steve. I felt comfortable with our conversation. My daughter took her 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 to them. They did an inspection and testing and told us what it would cost to fix it. They fixed the transmission and also helped her out with a couple other preexisting issues and recommended a good general mechanic for repairs outside their equipment capabilities. This was several months ago and the transmission is great. No one could have taken better care of my daughter than they did.There is no better recommendation I can give than to say, I would not hesitate to send my daughter to them again ( Steve even told me if she has any car problems tell her to come by and they would make sure she was taken care of ). Exceeded my expectations. As a woman, I am always suspect of what "problems" I am told my car may have. Randy, brought to my attention two issues which they fixed, but showed me a picture of what it looked like before and after. WHAT A CONCEPT! PROOF...I love it. The other first .... I'm selling my truck and went to these guys to work out some issues. I needed fast service and asked them to make an exception for me on timeframe. Of course, I told them I understood if they couldn't get to it sooner than later. Mike made the exception for me and gave exceptional service too. Instead of giving that knee-jerk response so many people do of a deep sigh and a long pause to work it out in their head, Mike double checked, made it happen, and didn't make me feel like I owed him one for doing me a favor. I tried to leave him some extra cash for being so generous and he said no way and that he was happy to help. I left the $20 for him anyway on my way out because good people with great attitudes should be rewarded for going above and beyond.
