We were on a trip to see family when our engine started over heating. We putted our way to the nearest high rated mechanic. As soon as the mechanic arrived we got a price quote, and promptly began working on our vehicle. The time went over what was estimated but the price did not. He was very thorough and explained everything that was happening with our vehicle. We liked the transparency when with the large bay window looking into the shop. We are extremely pleased with the service. If we lived in the area we would definitely make this our go to mechanic. Evan R.

Referred to Family Auto Care by CarMax since they were booked throughout the month. Was impressed by the service Nicole and Sean provided. Very understanding to my situation and was able to offer me a drop off and a pick up ride to and from their shop. Very polite and professional. Quick repair and nice people.

I came into this shop and ask how much it would be to diagnose and replace the thermostat and water pump - they quoted $57 for the diagnosis and $657 for the work. When my husband dropped the car off they wrote the quote much higher so I called to dispute it and was told this was there standard price. I asked them not to work on the car because I didn't feel comfortable with the sudden price change. When we picked up the car it had been moved and I asked why they said they were about to begin the work when I cancelled. I drove it across the street for a diagnosis at another shop and was told that the Coolant hoses were disconnected and all of the coolant was running out of the car...and the car could not be driven it had to be towed!!! Costing us even more money!!! There were no leaks when the car was dropped off at CME. The thermostat light had come on a few weeks earlier we filled up the coolant, nothing was leaking because the car sat in our drive way for two weeks while we were on vacation....until we could drop it off at the shop. Please beware of these vindictive crooks...

I took my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder into Vacaville Nissan to have a bounce problem in the rear checked out. They said the problem was the rear shocks. The replaced those with OEM shocks. The bounce was worse that before the replacement. The tires would actually leave the ground on small bumps and the vehicle nearly flipped over on its side going over a railroad track. I returned to Vacaville Nissan but the Service Dept. was closed. The head new car salesmen checked out the car and stated that the shocks are too weak to support the weight of the vehicle. I returned the next day and there technician took the car for a test drive. He stated that there is a problem but there is nothing they can do because these are the shocks that their Book show for this vehicle. THEY KNOWINGLY ALLOWED US TO LEAVE THE DEALERSHIP IN A CAR WITH A DANGERUOUS CONDITION THAT COULD RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH. THEY PROMISED TO FIX THE SHOCKS IF THESE DIDN’T WORK BUT FAILED TO TELL US THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY 680 ADDITIONAL DOLLRS TO DO THAT.

I had a problem with a stuck bolt on my battery terminal and was dreading taking it to a mechanic expecting overpriced labor and hassle. Automedic has changed the way I view Auto Shops. They quoted me at $50-$100 over the phone which I thought immediately was reasonable and in my price range. When I got there the technicians were very friendly and started working on it right away. I was out the door in 30 minutes and was only charged $35 dollars. Fair, Honest, Fast and friendly. I would defiantly recommend this to friends and family.

MY daughter is stationed at Travis AFB. I am in SC ( 3000 miles away ). But when she has a problem she calls immediately. Her transmission was dying. I found Edco on a google search for transmission repair, along with a few others. Edco is well documented in the find a business type search engines so I called them and talked with Steve. I felt comfortable with our conversation. My daughter took her 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 to them. They did an inspection and testing and told us what it would cost to fix it. They fixed the transmission and also helped her out with a couple other preexisting issues and recommended a good general mechanic for repairs outside their equipment capabilities. This was several months ago and the transmission is great. No one could have taken better care of my daughter than they did.There is no better recommendation I can give than to say, I would not hesitate to send my daughter to them again ( Steve even told me if she has any car problems tell her to come by and they would make sure she was taken care of ).
