Autotech of Danbury is the best place to get work done on your automobile. I found them when I ordered snow tires earlier and sent them to a local recommended business to mount; their service and manner was excellent and when I mentioned them to a friend from here, she said oh! We've always gone there. I just now had to switch out my snow tires for new regular ones; George spent a great deal of his time helping me understand what I needed and searching for the best prices. They're fast and efficient. Working with George, Annie and their staff is easy. This is now my number one automobile place!

I have had my car fixed at this shop numerous times. I would recommend them to anyone. It is always difficult to find a repair shop where you trust the people who are servicing your car...This is that place! They tell it like it is. No unneeded services or surprise extras when you go to pay the bill. To be fair, I had one uncomfortable situation arise with them. However, I was the one that made them uncomfortable (long story I wont bore you with) and once it was explained (professionally I might add), the situation was corrected and I continue to have my car serviced there. We have used Keating Bros. for years to purchase excellent used cars and for repairs. Never had a problem. I think that we have purchased more than a dozen vehicles over the years between myself and my family. Extremely trustworthy used car dealership. The only place we go for used cars. Feel scammed by this auto shop! Don't take your car here - there are better options. - I picked up my car and there was a large dent on the roof - it definitely wasn't there when I dropped it off and Performance Imports denied doing it - charged me $122 for a diagnostic - told me I had $6,300 worth of repairs. - after I paid, they brought me my car and then denied putting the dent in it. They said they didn't do it because they only drove the car a few minutes and parked it - I said how did you get to $6,300 if you didn't even look under the hood or put on a lift! They said when they drove it they could tell clutch needed replacing and based on age and history of car, the brakes needed replacing - WHAT!!!!! - I asked them if they wanted to buy the car, they said it wasn't worth much but they would dispose of it at no charge or I could donate it. When I left the dealership, I went to the Audi dealership and they bought the car for $2,600 and would have given me more if there wasn't a big dent on the roof! What scam artists Performance imports are. I have tried to work with them - Ron is a nice guy but 3 times I have called to tell them how upset I was and I have asked only for the diagnostic fee back - he says he will check with the owners and call me back and he never has. Please do not take your car here as they are not to be trusted to provide good service or give honest advice.

I bought a 2003 Nissan Murano from DRT over a year ago. Nice looking on the outside and the DRT owner ( Andy) swore to me that "I will put my mother in this car". Well, I wish he had because I paid about 14k cash for this car including 4 brand new tires. Since the 14k I have paid another 15k just to keep it together including a new engine and many other major parts. I took it back to DRT for maintenance after a couple of weeks and they stole the new tires right off of the car and replaced them with what another mechanic says looked like 2-3 year old tires. I would NEVER recommend DRT to anyone. They took advantage of a single female trying to do the right thing for her daughter. For this reason I am disgusted with them and will tell everyone I know to stay FAR FAR away from DRT. I rate them NEGATGIVE - below zero.

I had my 19 year old son take my 2004 Nissan Pathfinder to this facility for an “oil change” just like I had done in 2009 and 2010. On this particular occasion the person at the store (Mr. Torres) assisted my son. While my son asked for an oil change, he was told that he needed a fluid exchange since the car was old. My son said “oh ok”, gave them my credit card and they proceeded with the work. They took so long that my son called home to tell his mom he would be late for dinner and wondered why it was taking so long. When finished, the workers handed my son a bill for $632.83.
