HouseCall Auto Mechanics is a unique and very convenient service that performs most general auto repairs and maintenance at your location, whether that is your home or your job. At the present time with just two service trucks, the work area covered extends from Riverhead to Hauppauge in Suffolk County and sometimes Nassau County in New York only. HouseCall works generally by appointment but usually on short notice. Emergency road service is our specialty. For example if you went to the grocery store or the shopping mall and when you returned to your car you found the car would not start. Call HouseCall and we can usually get you going the same day and sometimes if the timing is right, we can come right away and meet you there. This of course can often eliminate the additional expense and the time to arrange for towing. When there is no emergency we can come on a day and time that will fit in with your busy Long Island way of life and just by the uniqueness of what we do, when it comes to dealing with service and maintenance on your car, this is as good as it gets.

He posts false descriptions of the vehicles, and I mean really outlandish exaggerations as to the vehicles condition. He posts the ad nation wide so customers either have the car shipped or travel a good distance to pick it up. By that time he has you where he wants you. He'll offer a small discount or he keeps your deposit, and you schlep it back home a little poorer. Either way he wins. He (Arti) is a predator, but so for he has gotten away with it. The money he swindles is not enough to merit a law suit from out of town. I bought a car from him that he describe as "clean and rust free", as it turns out the car is so badly rusted that it is a total loss ($3000 repair for a 2003 car is just too much). If I could post pictures here you would be shocked. Listen to reason, and go elsewhere.

Having car fixed there was the biggest mistake I ve ever made! Charged WAY MORE than what the bill should have been for the repairs done. Double the labor price and 4x the amount for the parts installed, than other shops would have charged. Too bad I found this out after the fact!! Look up the reviews on this place on the internet and you ll see exactly what I m talking about!! Don t just take my word for it!! ANYPLACE is a better option than rocky point meineke!!! Charged over $1000.00 for what should have been $400 MAX elsewhere!! Live and learn, NEVER AGAIN!!! If I could have given a negative 10 number for a review, it still wouldn t be low enough!! Do yourself a big favor and pass this place by! If you broke down in front of it and had your car TOWED someplace else, your bill will still be cheaper!!!
