I Have Been A Valued Customer For Thirteen Plus Years Of Bob & Penny's Quality Vehicles...Almost Two Years Ago I Moved 50 Miles Away But Elected To Remain A Customer As I Trusted The Owners Of This Establishment. I Tried My Best To Patronize This Business Due To Loyalty And Trust. At My Last Oil Change One Of The Partners (Gary) Indicated That I Require A New Set Of Tires Due To Wear. I Requested That He Place An Order For 4 Tires And I Will Be There At The Appointed Time For Installation. Upon My Arrival He Proceeds To Dismount My Wheels Only To Find Out He Received The Incorrect Size From The Distributor. Inspection 101 Dictates That You Make Sure That You Verify That You Have Received What You Ordered Before You Call The Customer...After Leaving Work Early, Driving 50 Miles He Says To My Dismay "I Have All Of The Money I Will Ever Need And I Don't Need To Kiss Your AS*...If You Do Not Want To Patronize My Establishment You Can Go Elsewhere"...A Wonderful Attitude And Way To Treat A Valued Customer Of 13 Years...His Partner Penny Is A Wonderful Caring Person....That Being Said; If Gary Is Still Part Of The Business, You Would Be Better Off Finding Another Establishment To Do Business With As He Has All The Money He Will Ever Need And Does Not Need Yours. The Happy Ending Of The Story Is I Was Able To Obtain The Correct Size Of The Tires I Wanted For $50.00 Less Including A Free Alignment From A Reputable Establishment Who Recognizes The Importance Of Customer Service. As the Manager at this facility, I would like to take this opportunity to provide some information in regards to the previous post. The above customer came into our facility with two concerns. First, check a no start condition. It was a simple diagnosis, the starter had failed. We replaced the Starter, charged standard book time and the cost of a new, not rebuilt part. We even gave the customer a lifetime warranty on the part and did not charge a diagnostic fee. The second concern was to check a no heat condition. We verified there was no heat, and there was a noise coming from the dashboard area. I explained to Tony, this would require removal of the lower part of the dash board to diagnose and there would be a charge. It could be either an acuator, a blendoor, or even debris causing this condition. Tony declined. All the information was clearly marked on the receipt, in which, Tony had signed. I would be more than happy to repair the no heat condition on his old, high mileage vehicle, but he did not want it repaired due to cost. At AAMCO, we have been in business for over 50 years, and make customer satisfaction our number one goal.

Theo's car care is a rip-off!!! I took my car there because my friend said the owner was somewhat honest to him while inspecting his car, and because it's a small local shop so I expected lower charges. However, when I need to have a part replaced on my nissan, the owner asked for the same price as a Nissan dealer is asking, and, much higher than Goodyear!! He charged me $100 for inspecting, it took them FOREVER even after I told them my suspicion because it's a common Nissan problem that surprisingly hasn't been recalled on. The inspection cost $60 for my friend who has the same car and exact same issue at Goodyear. When it comes to labor, Theo's mechanic finished taking the part out and putting the new one in in about 1 hour, BUT, he charged me for 2 hrs!! When I told him my friend had it fixed for less, he said he doesn't believe me so I called Goodyear and had him talked to Goodyear, only then did he lowered the price a bit. When I got the bill at the end, it's almost the same as Goodyear's charge but I had a terrible experience. Terrible customer service and the owner is sleazy, rude, and ignorant, I would give him a -5 stars if I could.
