Auto repair service near Washington, DC

I have taken my 02 Passat to them a couple of times for repairs and have received good service both over the phone and in person. The repairs I had done were done professionally and I was always happy with the work. Most recently I had to have them remove the factory stereo so I could remove sub woofer wires, as I was trading it in, and Charlie came out and took care of it for me at no cost. I understand that with the right tools it is an easy task but he still came out and did it with a smile on his face. If I find myself with another VW or any of the German cars I will definitely take it back to them as needed.

This is one of my favorite places in Lake Ridge. Today Adam helped prove why. He repaired my hopeless WHEELBARROW TIRE in less than 20 minutes! I am back in home yard business and Lake Ridge Auto has come through once again!!! Love this place!!! Mary N. Occoquan, VA

Beware, don't take your luxury vehicle here for service, unless you want it damaged! I took my car in to this Car Max location to be serviced. It is a luxury vehicle. They not only damaged my vehicle when I brought it in, but they overcharged me $50 for lubricating my convertible top just to make money. I shouldn't have had to pay a dime, being that my car was damaged. I had to bring the car back to have it fixed. Certainly a waste of time and money (gas)... After you buy a car from Car Max the quality of service you recieve when you bring it in to have it repaired is very poor. The manager Josh, didn't even apologize or try to do anything to resolve the matter. I had to constantly call to check on the status of my vehicle. I wouldn't advise going to this location. They simply don't know how to treat their customers. They are obviously money hungry. If I could give them less than one star, I would...

I received a birthday coupon for a discount oil change, I went on a sat to get it done, they told me that they only do coupon M-F I made a appooinment for the following Tuesday 8:30am I showed up when they saw that I had a coupon on my hand they told me that they didnt have any appoinment under any name for that time, the guy behind the counter didnt even bother to look it up instead he searched on a scratch paper and said nope I dont have your name here, then he told me that they only accept coupons on Wednesday, I think they send coupons at home to try to get you to come in, and hopefully get you to paid full price by telling you they dont take coupons that day you are in.

Good local shop...I like supporting local shops. I don't want to pay for donuts and fancy wait rooms. These guys are honest and hardworking....they are friendly and most important inexpensive. I would highly recommend.

I wanted to wait to see how the repairs I received here worked out. Good news! My car is still running great. My car broke down nearby this place and I limped in to their parking lot and left the key in the drop box. They have a website that shows that they accept overnight and weekend vehicles, which was a reason why I dropped my car off there. I lucked out, because these guys did a great job. They were very clear about what was wrong when they called me, and they gave me good advice about the timing belt being changed. It's been a few long driving trips and my car is still running well and not overheating. They did a great job and if I lived closer to them, I'd take my car there again. John Kennedy

We just discovered them on craigslist when we needed to fix one of the lights on our BMV 321i 2009 model. We called and left a message on the phone number provided and they called us back and we booked an appointment for same day. We met David the General Manager at the nicely decorated office and workshop at Chantilly. He was very professional and knowledgeable on BMWs. In fact we were very impressed with the diagnoses he gave us on other issues on our car. They also gave us a good discount on oil change and the icing was 2 year warranty for the parts we purchased from them which actually came from the dealership. They also gave us a good discount. My husband and I purchased our first Mercedes Benz on 2/26/2017. We came by late the day before and were greeted by Anton Mursin. He was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and personable and didn't make us feel pressured which was comforting. This enabled us to explore the vehicle, ask questions, and test drive the GLE 350....which was refreshing. He really has a way of making you feel excited about the vehicle. We explained that we needed to come back the next day due to other obligations, so Anton was sure to set an appointment for us. Upon our return the next day, we continued to get terrific service:) We test drove the vehicle once more, and made our decision to purchase our new Mercedes Benz! This was a very positive experience and we would definitely recommend both Anton Mursin and Mercedes Benz of Chantilly! Additionally, we would like to mention and thank Eric Carlson. While we were late for our appointment the day of our purchase...Anton was assisting a client and Mr. Carlson was happy to assist us until Anton was available. I just want to tell anyone that is planning to go there to buy a car..my advice to you DON'T DON'T DON'T.. it will be the biggest mistake you do in your life. The sales people are very pushy and they will give you a very rude behavior once you say give me a minute to think. And also asking any question is a big NO, they want to sell the car that's all, I went today for an oil change and I told them about a noise I hear from day one and the customer service MANAGER DOUG started yelling telling me how hard his life with dealing with customers and just walked away after that creating a big scene. I will never go there again and we will never ever recommend this place for anyone.
