I took my Fiat 500 in for body repair after a collision. I couldn't be happier with the results. They were professional, quick and efficient. They communicated directly with me and the insurance company in a timely fashion. My car looked better when I picked it up than I did when I bought it new. Came to Chev Center in because rattle under car and hissing. Classic Symptoms of bad catalytic converter. Causes over heating and poor fuel mileage. Worker did not check to see if catalytic converter was bad. Worker just brushed me off. Worker just treated a result of bad cat converter not the cause. When I asked about the rattle, worker just said caused by string hanging from door. Ha Ha. Coordinators who take info on cars are inexperienced and untrained. This lack of skill by those working on cars has cost me $800 in extra repairs so far and Cat Converter is not repaired.

I'm relatively new in the area, and needed to find a reliable automotive repair and service shop to help me with numerous issues that have been creeping up with my car recently. I had been noticing some issues with my suspensions, alignment, and some strange things happening with my engine, and since I'm not an expert, I needed a shop that would provide honest, friendly, and courteous service and wouldn't try to take me (and my wallet) for a ride. I was pleased when I called Car Port Specialist on a whim and had a pleasant conversation with them over the phone. They were patient with me and didn't talk down to me or make me feel small for not knowing exactly what the problem was. I came in the same day and they did some diagnostic testing, and I didn't even have to pay from the estimate. For me, this was big; other shops I called had no patience for me being unsure about the exact nature of the problem, and would have charged a substantial amount for the estimate. In the end, I was expecting the repairs to be more expensive than they were. Ultimately the engine issue was minimal, and the prices for everything were extremely fair. We brought in a used vehicle we had just purchased because the gears were not shifting smooth and there was a troubling vibration at low speeds. The diagnosed the issue, added an additive that immediately resolved the issue and we did not get soaked on the cost. We truly appreciate the fact that we have been able to rely on Dealer Service Alternative team to be ethical, efficient, helpful and prompt. They are the best, and we won't trust anyone else with our cars!

DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE LGBT+. This mechanic has amazing reviews on google and I have used them in the past with great results. But now that I am using them as a trans woman I can see the way they treat the LGBT+ community. I went for an oil change and got the car back with the splash guard dragging on the ground. They said they’d fix and convinced me to use them for tires and a new rear mirror also. When got it back from that two weeks later. The splash guard had been just removed without replacement and the front splash guard was now dragging. I was charged hundreds more for the tires than quoted and they won’t give me an invoice just a generic receipt. The rear mirror was never touched and was never told for two weeks while they had the car that they couldn’t get the mirror for my car. So over a month I barely had a car, spent over $3,000 and now I am missing a splash guard and the other is broken. Rear mirror is still broken. Only positive is an oil change and nice tires that where probably way over priced. Used this mechanic for 2 cars over 3 years and they have been amazing and the reviews everywhere are amazing. But then I walked in the door at a trans woman and that all changed.

I live in Clermont and needed my recently purchased 2007 GTI worked on so I called one of the local major dealerships and was told they did not work on Volkswagen. After asking for a recommendation I was told by the person on the other end of the line that in fact his really good friend owned his own repair shop and they worked exclusively on Volkswagens; the name of the company was called Jason's Bug Ranch. I tool the information and called to make an appointment; during that call they made the exception of accommodating me even though they usually don't do anything major on Saturdays. When I arrived there were Volkswagens everywhere and after speaking with Jason it was obvious he was an authority on the brand, how they operate, function and how they should be repaired. He shared with me that he does not believe in trying to scare customers into spending more on repairs than is necessary; he believes some repairs are more urgent than others and it's his job to educate his customers about the urgency or lack there of for each repair need and I find that refreshing. That approach significantly increases the chance that the customer will return to him when necessary because consumer trust is hard to earn. Jason spent 45 minutes working on my car and asked me to bring it back when he had more time to repair it correctly; he gave he an entire in depth diagnostic report of my car of which there were many and didn't charge me a dime; he trusted that I would return and I did. Jason and Nate know what they're talking about when it comes to VW and surprisingly very friendly and approachable. Since having my car repaired there it has been running like a champion especially considering the car has 204k miles; it runs like new, very strong, very fast! I will recommended Jason's Bug Ranch to anyone wanting to repair their Volkswagen.
