I usually do not write reviews, but this place rocks! My daughter’s car got rear-ended and East Coast Autobody and Glass worked with our insurance company to make sure they knew every time they found a problem and how much more it would be. They kept us up to date with what was happening with her car. They even talked with the car rental people to see when the insurance company was going to stop paying for it. When our insurance company stopped paying for the car rental, they picked up the rest of it till the car was ready. The work they performed on the car is top notch you cannot tell it was ever hit. Plus, they fixed some minor cosmetic issues at no cost. I will be using them from now on for all my autobody needs.

All my friends and family take our vehicles to Sweeneys and have done so for over 20 years. They are always courteous and professional and above all very honest. I highly recommend them.

I was looking for an auto repair shop that I could trust would NOT treat me like a stupid woman and jack up the prices. Women and the elderly get a sticker of "sucker" put on their forehead when they arrive to Firestone, Goodyear, Tire Kingdom and the likes. I got a referral from a AAA driver who said they would take their own car to Jake's if they didn't do their own service at home. I was assured Jake's only performed service that was actually needed and did not try to sell you extras. I liked that. I took my car in and while waiting a few minutes in the office, a gentleman came in to pick up his car. An Elderly gentleman. He told me that Tire Kingdom told him he needed a new serpentine belt but the gentleman wasn't so sure so he took it to Jake's for a 2nd opinion. The mechanic at Jake's determined there was nothing wrong whatsoever with the serpentine belt and charged him $0! This confirmed Jake's is what I was looking for!! Now to me... I have an old car with very low miles. Jake's found my problem quickly and a few others which I expected. I hadn't taken the car in for quite a while other than oil changes, tires and such. One repair would correct my "noise". One was a major safety issue so I didn't lose my wheel one day driving down the road! Two could be done at a later date but they wanted them to be on my radar. I wasn't sure I could afford the two major issues at the same time but Jake found discounts or specials or coupons or something and lowered the price by enough where I could afford to do both! I was so relieved and thankful to have found such a good, honest establishment. I was introduced to most of the mechanics while I waited to be driven home when I left the car and everyone from the young woman working the office, to the mechanics, to Drew and to Jake. Everyone was so nice, caring, and knowledgeable. I would recommend Jake's to everyone especially the elderly and women!!

I conducted a lot of research on the Hydra Lift and Mike Thibeau provided me with a walk thru and allowed me to see a unit installed prior to ordering one. Since I have used for a few thousand miles (he custom set it up for easy removed and re-install) as I was pulling a big trailer and couldn't do both, the quick disconnects work great and the lift etc is great to easy to operate and rides down the road smooth. More miles to the gallon on my 36 ft diesel pusher. Have a full dress Harley. Bill Bushall

I went just to a diagnostic AC they tell me will be a cost for 50 dollar I did acepte but the supposed fix my Ac with out my concert . No communication they just bill me for $ 283 I feel my self force to paid . I did paid . When I got home my AC is not working . I went back to request a refund and the owner Armando very aggressive just said he only will refund $10 dólares . Is not a honest person . They take advantage of the situation and charge the amount of money with not fixing the problem. I do not recommend this place.

We had contracted coastal glass to replace the glass in 7 windows. Not only did they not do the job properly but as of today (2 1/2 months later) I had to go pick up the glass and windows and take them somewhere else to get them done. We were lied to repeatedly and the owner is extremely rude. Especially if you are a woman. Apparently I was "confused". One of us was definitely confused and it was not me. Stay Away from this business! They are horrible!

Stay far away from this place. I brought my vehicle in as it was having major engine problems, bad knocking and stalling out. This is a really old and beat up vehicle and I was already shopping for a new car, and as such I let this place know up front that I was not willing to put over $1,000 worth of work into something I was about to replace. If the repairs would be a few hundred only then would it make sense. That was my first mistake, to be up front and honest with them in the hopes they would be the same. I was given a first round of repairs estimate that was a little over $700. I asked again how confident they were this would cover the primary issues, and reiterated my unwillingness to put any more than that tops into this vehicle. Here the exchange got combative and defensive. They even accused me of trying to lure them into a trap. What? I'm just trying to get a thorough and honest assessment of what I'm looking at here. I should have walked away right then and there. But, I let them do the repairs, which was replacing the Oxygen Sensors and a coil, and surprise, surprise, another $600+ worth of repairs would be needed. My vehicle had a clogged catalytic converter that was melting oxygen sensors, pretty bad damage, which all totaled would come out to around $1,400 worth of work, well over what I said up front would be past my willingness to invest. Here's the thing, I researched what would make an oxygen sensor melt (these things are metal) and consulted other mechanics. The issue is rare and the only thing that would have caused it is a bad catalytic convertor. I am entirely convinced this place knew I wouldn't pay for the full repairs, so they feigned ignorance of the total issue so as to at least put me on the hook for $700. My wife went in and paid for the car because I was so irate that to have further personal contact with these people would come to no productive good. If you have to buy tires here. Do not and I repeat, do not buy them from william (bill). The man is VERY rude and his customer service is horrible.
