Honest home town service , don't see that too often

Mike took the boat to Happy Boaters here in Cartersville to get it ready for summer. The owner, Dave, quoted $175 to get it ready for summer.  As he was asking us questions, I got a bad feeling. My gut was telling me he was trying to find out how much we knew about boats so he could BS us and get more money out of us. I told Mike my feelings when we got home. Sure enough, Dave called us to say the engine was shot, but hey, he could put in another for $7,000 or "take it off our hands" for $3,600 and put us in a $15,000 boat. I disagreed and told him I wanted a second opinion. He then got haughty and told me that would be a waste of money. I instructed not to do any more work and we would pick the boat up. They had dismantled the outboard and other parts when we picked the boat up. He still wanted the $175, but did cut it down to $125. We took the boat home. A couple of Mike's friends started working on it and, guess what, the engine started right up. There was a kill switch to be turned on, apparently. We approached Dave again, showed him the video of the boat starting, and wanted our money back. He said he had to talk to the guy working on it. We complied and one of our friends went with us to talk to him. Dave had to talk to him alone. When he was done, Dave came out and said he wasn't going to give our money back because we "paid him for an opinion." I said, no, we paid you to get it ready for summer. You didn't do that. He said he didn't know what miracle happened to get the engine running, but he stood by his opinion the engine was blown. He also claimed he didn't want us to spend any money on the boat and advised as such. I called him on his BS and he called me a bully. My advice, do not take your boat to this guy.

I’m only posting this review because I’ve gotten several emails about reviewing yall. I usually never say anything if I have somthin bad to say. My experience here was pretty terrible. However, I’ll start off by saying the guy at the counter and the attitudes were all great. But when it comes to the service part… that’s a whole other situation. My first impression when I got my car back was it smelled like a sweaty man had been driving it around. Then the radio came on to some super loud hip hop (which I love but obviously not my country presets). I realize that when you change the parts that y’all needed to change that you may have to go drive it around a little to make sure the breaks are working properly. But.. like for real? It smelled SOO nasty. Then as im driving out I notice the breaks were squeaking… they are still squeaking a week later… I love attention to detail so cleaning whatever funk is causing that would have been nice. Lastly, and most importantly, I’m very very conscious of the cosmetic condition of my newer ford mustang. It’s been my dream car since I was a little kid and I finally got one less than a year ago. I don’t race it or push it whatsoever. I have a perfect driving record and never been at fault in any accidents. That’s why I was extremely surprised to see some nasty curb rash on my driver side front AND back rims. Practically new painted rims. So now y’all probably understand why I would never want y’all touching my car ever again. After a $500+ job I would expect a little more care. Really frustrating. Lesson learned… Don’t just go to a repair shop because it’s right across the street from where you live.

Euro Ultimate is ASE Certified & BMW Certified. Great staff and exceptionally good prices. I had my brakes serviced and repaired my BMW ( head gasket repaired, radiator repaired and alternator repaired ). Euro Ultimate was kind enough to tow my vehicle for free. I would also like to add that my car has been running strong and smooth for one year now thanks to Euro Ultimate.

The BEST repair shop I have ever taken my car to!!!!!! The repairs performed on my car were done in a very timely manner and at a cost that was far cheaper than the dealership. I took my car to other repair shops in the area before finding Rocco's. The feeling that I was not going to be ripped off at Rocco's was almost immediate upon walking in. Johnny, one of the owners, made me feel very comfortable right off the bat. He was very professional and came across as extremely honest and sincere. It was very clear that he was extremely knowledgeable about car repairs when he took his time explaining to me in detail the issues they had found in my car. An EXCELLENT family-run, neighborhood European Auto Repair shop that I would recommend over-and-over-and-over again to anyone looking for an HONEST place to take their car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EXCELLENT Shop in All regards, Courteous, Technically Excellent, Fast and Cost Competitive Service. We were in the ATL area visiting family and had a recurring electrical short draining battery that had been investigated in home state by 2 other 'good' shops without success. So I initially picked them from Web from previous good experiences with other Midas shops. However, these guys proved to be the BEST auto service Quality I've ever received. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Very friendly, professional service. The worked hard to give me service and did a fine job repairing my truck. I had problema with the electrical system on my truck and they could have easily been dishonest. They isolated the problem and after testing some parts and they only replaced that which was broken. They did it all at a fair price. They deserve your business!

I brought my car in for what I thought would be a major service. Too my surprise the repair was covered under warranty. My car has been out of warranty for a number (1000's) miles and the service advisor got with the service manager at Ed Voyles Honda, he made one call. Then it was covered! The service manger told me that since I was a loyal Honda customer, Honda would take care of it. I love Ed Voyles Honda!

Mike is truly a pleasure to work with. He makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. He always greets with a smile. He is very knowledgeable and kept me posted during along the way. Will definitely bring my Mercedes CLA 250 back!

I bought a new set of tires. Fast service, and great price. Unfortunately one of the tires was defective. I went back to them the next day and they determined that it was defective, and told me that they would have a new tire for me the next day. I've now been back 4 times, and there still is no replacement tire. At this point I just think they're dishonest.
