I took my ML 350 due to a problem with the Engine. The drive chain had broken. The dealer's recommendation was to repair and cost was something of buying another car! So, I took to Dupage Auto Werks. The recommendation is to replace the 118K miles engine with a much lower engine. They shopped and found a fimilar engine and practically did a 'Engine Transplantation'! Now that I have an engine not only has a lower mileage, but also was cheaper overall. Very satisfied with them to have suggested and able to get my car worth somehting that I can keep it a much longer time!

This is a very convenient location for me,and my family has used Frank's for years. The service is great and the prices are always on point. I really like being able to drop off my car, then walk across the street and catch the metra into work.

I don't know who they are using for their service guys, but they are terrible. Touch up work was very sloppy and the car clearly had some back panel work done even though they are denying it. I'm not blind, I can SEE there was work done. There were also some possible leaks under the hood. Mechanic claimed it was overfill and that he could just power wash it to prove it. Well, he never did that or addressed the leaks. Terrible service and very sloppy work, which is surprising since they "specialize" in high end, exotic cars. I would highly consider shopping elsewhere. They are only out to get your money and rip you off.

I had a terrible experience dealing with this company. I will be sure to call the Illinois Commerce Commision at 1-800-524-0795 to file a complaint and may possibly take my case to small claims court. AS A CUSTOMER PAYING FRONT DESK HAD AN ATTITUDE AND CHRIS THE MANAGER CALLED ME AFTER I DROPPED OFF MY CAR TO DISCUSS ABOUT THE SITUATION. I SAID IM A CUSTOMER/ YOUR EMPLOYEE WAS RUDE //AND THE MANAGER CHRIS SAID I AM THE MEDIATOR, AS A MANAGER YOU SHOULD INFORM YOUR EMPLOYEES TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY. to chris the manager don't ever call your customers in regards to your employees who have problems...with customers.. the front desk had an attitude don't know where you picked her up to be a clerk, DO NOT USE THEM/ RIP OFF PLACE AND WILL TAKE FOREVER TO GET YOUR CAR FIXED. YOU CAN GET ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP GOOGLE IT.... BEWARE/ HORRIBLE PLEASE TO ALL CONSUMERS USE ANOTHER PLACE. I tried later to call there to see the status of my car and about 6 calls later still no answer. I truly believe that the clerk didn't pick up because I was calling and so when i did call from my other phone the front desk picked up and finally got an answer of status of my car 3 hours later for a job that was to take 1 1/2 hrs. please don't use them I was a victim of bad business.

Bad Business Practices Bought a car on May 8th, 2012. they said car was fine no major issues, runs great... 2 days later, it needs a new transmission with 40 miles i put on it, not to mention at least five other issues with the car. I got two different mechanics to look and both said the same! Owner Alex, will do NOTHING AT ALL. Stay away from! I had an awful experience dealing with BBB, Attorney General and My own Attorney
