I was very happy with McMahon Tire Inc., when I came in to have my headlamp on my 2004 CTS replaced. I had been quoted a ridiculous price to have this done at the dealer (as the front bumper needs to be removed in order to do this) and McMahon did it for more then 1/2 the price. They are great people to work with as I go there now for my oil changes on a regular basis and anything else I need done. Very satisified!!

Denny Gilson and his son might be the best Classic Porsche mechanics in Fort Wayne. Their attention to detail and knowledge of German cars is formidable. If you own a classic Porsche as I do, these are the guys you want working on it. How did I run across them? The Porsche dealer recommended Denny because he once worked for them and I'm pleased they did.

I am sorry to hear about this customer's disappointment with our service.  We quoted the customer $110.00 to diagnose the air bag light concern and he authorized that expense. The diagnosis charge covers up to one hour of a technician's time, reading fault code memory and performing test plan procedures to find the root cause of a fault. If we are unsuccessful in determining the root cause after one hour or more of diagnosis we contact the customer and seek additional diagnosis time for which there are additional charges prior to proceeding. In this case that is what we did and the customer declined to proceed any further. Regarding the time spent working on the vehicle, the appointment is the time reserved for the advisor to record the customer concerns and ascertain authorization for any charges prior to the work being performed. It is not the exact time at which the technician will begin working on the vehicle. The dispatching of work is dictated by the vehicle promise time so that the vehicle is done at the agreed upon time. Any delays that may cause us to miss a promise time are cause for the advisor to contact the customer to inform them of the time constraints and to discuss options for continuing forward. The total repair order was $263.39 which included the oil service and the diagnosis. The quoted expenses were $110.00 for diagnosing the air bag lamp and $145.00 for the oil service plus taxes. called for quote on replacing 02 oxygen sensors on my 1997 bmw 740il. was quoted as a hourly rate of $69.50. as shown on the wall in there office. so they replaced my oxygen sensors which took about 1 hour. I was charged a total of $157.00 shows on my copy of bill of $75.00 an hour what happened to the $69.50 an hour. I timed the mechanic and it only took 1 hour but the bill would reflect 2 hours. this is not right and would suggest you get an estimate in writing before you have them work on you vehicle. this shop is affiliated with a church.

This is a horrible place to have any work done on your vehicle! They have bad business ethics, horrible manners and take advantage of women! I called to see if they could give me a "ballpark" estimate for a repair and they informed me that they cannot give an estimate without looking at the car first. My girlfriend took the car in to get the "estimate" and not only did they tell her that they would need to replace parts on it that were basically new they also gave her an estimate about 10x as much as it should cost AND charged her for the estimate they couldn't give over the phone. They just want you to bring the car in so that they can make some type of money off of the estimate! And when I called to complain they didn't know that was my car and were some how able to give me that ballpark estimate over the phone...then when I told them that was my car they just looked at they hung up on me. I don't know how this place is still in business! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone and I hope that this review can save people the money and time that I wasted on this shame of a company! And I'm pretty sure the "good" reviews this place had was made by employees of the company.

We took our truck in because water got into our gas tank. He drained the water and cleaned the fuel injectors (without informing us or getting the go ahead from us) and charged us $830. The next time it rained we got water in our gas tank again, took it back to him and this time he said well the fuel injectors must need to be replaced so he replaced all of them and drained the tank and drove our truck 40 miles (why? I’m not sure). Charged us $1000!!! The next time it rained we got gas in the tank again! We took it back to him told he that he needs to figure it out and fix it for us free of charge. He just scratched his head and said; maybe someone is putting water in your fuel tank (Really? Every time it rains? Com’on!). After he drained and gave us an unauthorized oil change and told us he couldn’t figure it out he charged us $185 and wouldn’t give us our keys until we paid. We paid him over $2000 (not to mention 3 towing fees) and the issue still had not been fixed. We then took it over to a friend of my dad’s that tinker’s on cars (not a licensed mechanic) his first thought was to take the bed of the truck off and see if there were any rust spots on the fuel tank where water could be getting in. Lo and behold when they did that they found it and were able to fix it. Why on earth couldn’t this guy do that? His best thought was, someone was putting water in our gas tank. I would never, ever take another vehicle back to this guy. He obviously does not know what he is doing.
