I would not trust my money with anyone else. I get treated fair every time I talk to Jim or his salesmen. They are truly honest and will tell you every single detail they know about the vehicle, instead of ignoring your question like a lot of other people. The prices are extremely cheap, always under KBB value. I originally bought a 96 Saturn off of Jim in 2004. It had 170,000 miles and it made it to over 230,000 miles in 2010. I ended up trading it in for a newer Saturn and he gave me another great deal! I got 6 years out of a $1,600 vehicle. Beat that!!

I found that Bob is one of the most honest mechanics that has worked on my car. That is one reason, I will return to him to work on my car. The other, which is also important, I am very satisfied with the work he has done. I will be returning to him when I need additional repairs.

On 8-24-2015 my wife & I purchased a 2005 Chevy Equinox LS AWD from Katts Karrs in Blue Island Illinois. Dick Messino was our salesman and I could not speak any higher of an HONEST Used Car Salesman !!!! We were looking for a dependable AWD/4WD vehicle for our youngest son to commute to & from school without going broke. The previous Friday I was in Napleton Dodge and left disgusted when they refused to negotiate on a Jeep with 170,000 miles & a ripped drivers seat. Katts Karrs is directly across the street from the dealership when I spotted the Equinox. I took the Vehicle for a test drive on Friday. Brought my wife & mechanic friend back on Saturday for an additional test drive & purchase the vehicle on Monday. I am extremely happy with my selection of a vehicle. The cleanest SUV inside & out & under the hood that we have seen yet. No hassle - No pressure - Just REALLY NICE VEHICLES. I would recommend Katts Karrs to anyone looking for a Quality Used Vehicle. I had trouble with my truck and I didn't know what is was. I took it to All Pro and they took the time to explain to me what was going on. They rebuilt my Transmission and I was on my way in no time.

I bought my Grand Prix here a few years ago, they fix the odometer, so the miles match Carmax records. I didn't notice until a few months into it. While on a road trip to Detroit, I set the trip meter to check my gas miles and after I reached Detroit the trip meter showed 160 miles instead of 300 miles. On my return trip the total miles from Detroit to Chicago in odometer was 140miles. After checking with my mechanic he told me the front dash has been opened and they have done some thing to ododmeter.When i called the owner with this issue, he was sounded off like i never bought the car here and when I went in person he asked me whats the guaranty that I didn't do this to the car, I would not suggest buying a car here. Go to a real dealer.

I give 5***** Less than 10 degrees this morning. My car started "immediately." The radio works; I hear the turn signal as it flashes. The tail light work perfectly...My Car is repaired PERFECTLY and the key, glue hardened and it works perfectly; I am a satisfied customer.It was minus 2 degrees overnight. I did allow the car to idle about 10 minutes...Thank You Mr. Johnson...Happy New Year Again. Respectfully, Naomi Sharif

Great mechanics showed me all my before and after stuff, showed me my new parts and showed me pictures of when the intake was removed, very very clean mechanics as far as work ethics . Would not go anywhere else. Thanks you guys for being a blessing to me

I went to Velasquez Mufflers & Brakes at the above location on Monday, July 23, 2018. VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY poor service. I waited 5 hours for them to look at my car. Five hours!!! I have a 2012 Hyundai Sonata I brought in because of a rattling noise in the suspension. Not only they made me wait for five hours, they falsified the information. They informed me I needed two lower control arms at $280.00 each and sway bar links, struts, and sway bar bushings which I had to purchase at the dealership. However; they were willing to replace the 2 lower controls arms which I later found out I did not need. Had a second opinion at Car X and was informed I needed new bolts and pins only. I am convinced that Velasquez Mufflers tried to rip me off! Needless to say, Car X is repairing my vehicle. By the way, Car X took only 3 !/2 hours to repair my vehicle, which included the wait time.
