Auto repair service near Catonsville, MD

My Volvo broke down near their station and I had my car towed there for repair. Unfortunately the car was not worth fixing but fortunately I came across a great service station. I've since purchased a used Subaru and have had it there for service and couldn't be happier. Brian Ben and their staff are excellent mechanics and extremely honest. If you are looking for a repair shop don't hesitate to give them a chance you will be very happy. Mark V.

I recently took my Mercedes to this shop for repair because after owning the car for 12 years, I am tired of the pretentious attitudes and high prices of the dealership service department. API is a great alternative. The people who work at API are familiar with Mercedes cars, have the right tools to service them, and are able to get the right parts. Most importantly, they are friendly and make their customers feel valued. I plan to continue taking my car to API for future service needs!

I wholeheartedly agree with the previous review. I gave them a 1 because I couldnt move on to the next page without doing so but even a 1 star is too high for these crooks. They sold me a truck that was in awful condition. Damaged transmission, they put brakes on the truck but failed to replace the rotors that were bad. The windshiels was damaged but not able to tell until it rained. Everytime it rained outside it rained all inside the front driver and passenger side of the truck. The oxygen sensor went up 3 times within a year. The 3rd time they refused to fix without charging me. I got rid of the truck. It was very unsafe. Only had it 1 year.

I am in the middle of transferring a PA registered car to MD, and everyone here has been so helpful. They're quick, they keep appointments, they're accommodating and thorough, and I have gotten clear, reasonable answers to every question I've asked about the process. No car lingo, no trying to sell me something I don't need - they are actually concerned with my safety and doing their job well to ensure that. Garry the Manager is the BEST. I check sereral places for a price for a catalytic converter for my 2006 chyrler van. I got prices from $869.00 to $1100.00. I search the internet and found Monunment Street Auto. I called Garry and he quoted $473.00 for a catalytic converter. I could not believe what I was hearing. I left my work place and went to Monument Street Auto. Garry provided me with excellent Customer Service. An employee from the auto center drove me back to my place of work and he pick me up from work when the repair job was done.

I don't recall the exact date I went, as it was a while ago and I didn't realize they had a website. A friend recommended them, and it was a great experience. This is actually a mechanic I can say I trust to tell me the truth about my car repair. He fixed it, and didn't charge me just to find out what was wrong on top of the repair bill. Highly recommend them. He has many, many years of experience. So glad he has his own shop now.

Amazing service! After breaking down while passing through Baltimore, Michael and his team took great care of my BMW 325i and had me back on the road in a few hours. Honest and friendly, they delivered great results at a price about 15% lower than their initial quote. A+!
