I needed a new timing belt on my old Subaru. I called the expert mechanic at the marina, and the canniest lady with a buck I knew. I asked both where they would take a job like this. They both said "Jerry Hill!" with enthusiasm. So I did, and I've been enthusiastic ever since. Expertise and Honesty aren't always offered (especially to single women) by auto repair shops, but you can find both in abundance here. I have taken my 02 Passat to them a couple of times for repairs and have received good service both over the phone and in person. The repairs I had done were done professionally and I was always happy with the work. Most recently I had to have them remove the factory stereo so I could remove sub woofer wires, as I was trading it in, and Charlie came out and took care of it for me at no cost. I understand that with the right tools it is an easy task but he still came out and did it with a smile on his face. If I find myself with another VW or any of the German cars I will definitely take it back to them as needed.
