The service, April and her team are great. They help with understanding what you need and why. They talk to you and you can ask them anything related to your car - truck or what ever you are driving. If they don’t have the answer at that moment they will find the answer. They are very pleasant to work with and make it very comfortable to talk to and that is important. Prices are reasonable plus they will help you to make paying as easily as they can.

I just had Michigan Motor Exchange put a remanufactured engine into my 1998 Bravada. So far everything is running great. No one including myself wants to spend money on an older SUV but it turns out that it was cheaper than buying a new or used car with higher miles. So, for a few thousand bucks, I have a SUV that my 16 year old can drive. Looks good and runs great. David was very helpful in the process and straight forward about the costs. He gave me a competitive quote for the engine and after evaluating what else the truck needed...It was my decision....no pressure. It made sense to invest a bit more to address other non-engine related issues. I had my truck back in just over a week. I was referred to Michigan Motor Exchange by another automotive shop. I am happy with my experience.

My mom's car broke down on Sunday and the manager Bill helped fix her car even though they were closed. Since they were closed, he didn't charge her a thing! I called up today to offer to pay for the service and they said it's what they do for their customers! Luckily Bill had been in the store working on a project that day. No one else in the area was open and she was stranded. If you are in the area and need car repair I suggest going to people who actually care!

Nemr Mohammed Barakat (Tiger) he will take your hard earned money up front and does not do the work. He is a liar and con. This has been my experience. Before thinking about doing business with him call the Waterford Police Dept. and ask them how many times they have had to respond to his business in Waterford due to customer complaints.

Don't make the same mistake I did. Took my car for front end repair. Days after dropping it off I called to get the status. It was clear nobody had looked at the vehicle. Every time I called, stories were conflicting. I agreed to the most outrageous price , with the request not to use garbage chinese parts. They did just that. The parts charge of the bill was $800. Me pricing the same parts in the very best brands came to $350. The total bill for 2 control arm and a alignment that was never done was $1600 with the 10% discount right under the bible verse on my invoice. I didn't get a alignment printout, which is mandatory by law, because it was never done. I had to pay another shop to do that. People who hide behind christianity for financial gain, aren't christian at all. They are in fact, the exact opposite. My expectations are very much within reason, as several other mechanics agreed. I am not vindictive and I stand to gain nothing. My only purpose is to protect the next decent person who might fall victim.

The company van was running poor and due for a tune up, by the noise in the lifters I knew we had more than one issue. They diagnosed the problem and replaced the fuel injector and a tune up and were were on our way. The van runs like the wind. Thanks Cliff, great job

Go ANYWHERE but here for service, or any of the Szott Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealerships for that matter. Got our 2012 Avenger from Szott Dodge in Highland.... Alex in the sales staff was great. Right after we got the car it developed a slip going into 5th gear, so we took it back to Szott Dodge. First tech spoke down to my wife like she was an idiot telling her "Apparently you've never drive a 6 speed before as we can't find anything wrong with it".... Peeved and trying to save face, the service manager goes for a ride with us in the car, hears/feels the slip, acknowledges our complaint but also states that at this time (September of 2013) they don't have a trans tech on staff and to bring the car back later on. March of 2014 not only does the slip into 5th get worse, but now it begins to slip in all gears, so off to the dealer we go again. HA.... Several months later and Szott Dodge STIIL doesn't have a trans tech on staff so we're directed to take the dealer 5 miles up the road to their Szott Chrysler/Jeep dealer where they're suposed to have 3 techs on staff. 3 days later and after not hearing a thing have to contact them to which we're informed that one of their trans techs had driven the car the past few days and was unable to find anything wrong with it. (and managed to put 20 full miles on the car....Come on.... Please) Get the car back and low and behold..... Yeeep..... Still slipping! ............ Anything but you're average consumer, worked on everything from Indy, Trans Am, drag, 4X4's and even a few vintage F1 cars...... Even driven a few race cars over the years, so we're anything but naiave to automobiles. Another problem we had.... Took the car to Szott Dodge for an oil change during that trip for the trans check in September and found several things wrong.... Windshield sticker had the next change labeled for 10K miles out, air filter wasn't secured properly and they completely failed to re-set the oil change warning on the ECM. Worse yet..... Our sa

Rick referred me to another shop since Rick didnt have the tool. His contact, Jim, set up an appointment with his technician. They didnt charge me for my mistake and cycled a trunk switch / ignition that reset the body control module without the diagnostics. Lucky, fortunate and grateful! Took my car to GLA at the referral of a close friend because my brakes lost all power. I had known for about two months that I had a small leak in my front passenger side brake line, being the son of a former mechanic I had bought parts and planned on doing the work myself. However, weather and timing were not on my side. Took my car in and Matt and John took a look at it and found that my master cylinder had also went bad. They replaced the cylinder and found that I was right about the leak in the front passenger line, however Matt was pretty sure that the increased pressure from the new cylinder caused the leak. They replaced the line as well and now my car stops better than when I bought it. They did it at a reasonable price too, because I know that the same job at a dealership could have been $900-1000. I'll definitely be seeing them in the future.
