Auto repair service near Clayton, MO

They are over priced and when you try to negotiate they are very rude. I tried to explain that you can not expect someone to pay over what Kelley blue book is for a vehicle there comment was I will find someone to buy it. So I interpret that to mean they just wait on a sucker to come along. My advice before you buy anything from them check KBB and make darn sure they are not misrepresenting options of the vehicle. BEWARE

I want to thank everyone at North Belt automotive for doing a great job on my car. They were really fast and professional I brought my car into the shop at 4:40pm Friday(the shop closes at 5). They allowed me to wait inside with my toddler son until my ride came, which unfortunately was running late. They called me by 11:30 Saturday evening. If you needed anything done to your car I would definitely prefer this place!! -Arika Ellis

Our car is two years old and had about 10,500 miles on it at the time this happened. Auffenberg Hyundai changed our oil and did not put oil in the car before letting my wife drive off. She drove 2 miles. She took the car back and they basically put oil in the car and rushed her out as to keep things quiet. After I got involved they wrote a letter stating Auffenberg will cover the engine to 100K miles but according to the warranty if I have a problem and have to take it someplace else it is not covered if it is deemed lack of oil is the cause. I asked them if they would do a complete engine tear down to inspect and they stated that if they did not find anything wrong they would charge me $2000. I then asked for a new engine. They said if they did that it would be a "Like Kind Quality" (LKQ) engine. I later found this meant it was going to come from a salvage yard. This is all for a problem they caused. And in the end we still had to pay for the oil change! Do not use their service department! Or for that matter buy a car from these people!

Work done was excellent as always. However, the quote of $350 to change the ignition switch is way over the top. I changed it myself in less than a half hour in my driveway in the cold.
