Having bought a car from this location, was happy with the vehicle...however, upon trying to license the car, realized quickly that they failed to have me sign the proper paperwork for the title, which state police told me is illegal to sell a car without having this done. After weeks of calling, reporting to the circuit courts and BBB, I finally reached them (still, they never called, although claimed to). When finally resolving that issue, the DMV noticed that when they purchased the vehicle, it was signed by a different person than who originally bought it. A very helpful attendant at the Harvester, MO's DMV then called to try to resolve the issue with Mid Rivers directly and were told (by the owner/manager) Gary that it, and I quote was 'not their problem'. Buy from here at your own risk. Again, the car I purchased runs perfectly and no issues, but they do NOT care about their customers. They deserve zero stars AND in my belief, should be shut down.

AVOID AT ALL COST. If one star could be given it would. Repaired minivan, put in lesser aftermarket parts without asking or telling that non-original parts would be used. When part failed, wouldn't agree to either of the two reasonable restitutions offered and s basically told to get out of the shop. This same shop didn't repair a bolt in a tire that was brought in, and paid for to get repaired. When confronted, shop claimed it was a DIFFERENT bolt in the same tire that just happened to be in the same region and be the same size. This is also the same shop that told us we had a cracked oil pan, that never turned up again as an issue at this shop (despite never being fixed), never leaked oil and has not been found by two other shops.

I had Schiele replace a motor in my 65 F100. I provided the used motor to replace the existing one. I was very happy with the result. The mechanic's name was Aaron. As an example of how conscientious he was, he put a little oil in the cylinders and cranked it before actually trying to start it. This was probably a very good idea since the motor hadn't been run in a while. Aaron was willing to explain anything he was doing and didn't seem to mind that I came around often during the work. The project was completed in a timely manner and from my memory, slightly below what the initial estimate was. Keith Morehead

My 2006 VW Passat had been losing oil consistently for 2 years now. Many trips to the Dealership and I was told this was normal oil consumption . Not convinced I found Autos of Europe and explained the situation to the Service Manager. He seemed very knowledgeable of my situation and convinced me to bring the vehicle in for a second opinion telling me they run into this all the time. Brought my car in on Monday and had a diagnosis the same day, yes, the same day. I informed them I had an extended warranty and they worked with my warranty company to have the turbocharger replaced and the PCV system repaired, the warranty covered all the repairs. 2 years at the dealer with no result, never again.
