Auto repair service near Ashland, NE

My son is a student at Midland University. He began at Midland in January 2014. Shortly after arriving in Fremont his truck developed an exhaust system problem. Because we live so far from Fremont (over 500 miles, the Denver Colorado area) we had no idea where to have our son take his truck for repairs. My son asked his football coach at Midland, who recommended he take his truck to J&B. Thus began a very rewarding experience for us! John at J&B was SO very kind and patient with his willingness to talk to me on the phone concerning the repairs required. The truck was repaired promptly and correctly and at a very reasonable price. My "anxiety" over having to deal with an auto repair long distance was quickly turned into an extremely pleasant experience. John took the time to explain to me the options we had...replacing parts (expensive) vs. welding parts (much less expensive, and the choice we made, as this is an older vehicle with 150,00 miles on it). I feel now like John is a friend, even though we have never met in person. We were so pleased that we chose to also have some body work done as well. Once again John patiently explained the options we had, and how this body work could be done at minimal cost for us. After the repairs, my son did come home for Spring Break, and while he was home took his truck to have the Colorado emissions testing done, and it passed with flying colors!! The "new" front bumper looked terrific. We are so very pleased with John and J&B Auto Body in Fremont, and I feel confident that as my son continues his education for the next 2 years at Midland, we have a friend in Fremont that we can count on to help us out should any future vehicle problems arise. I would like to share my experience I had today with Hand Picked Auto. I have bought brand new cars from big named dealerships and buy-here pay here dealerships in the past and now recently in my new search. I have to say that overall, this was the best experience I have ever had. I do not have the best of credit due to past issues and lofty student loans, naturally customers like myself are a little more time consuming. Marty and Terry did NOT show one ounce of inconvenience in helping find a car and a loan right for me. There was once a time when I walked into a dealership with A+ credit and never treated as kindly as I was today at Hand Picked Auto. Marty and Terry are amazing!! They were anything but "typical salesmen". There was no judgement on the credit, they did what they could based on exactly what I had to work with, and above all it was fun. Marty and Terry have great personalities and when it comes down to it, they are good people!! I went in today at 2:30 and they stayed late to ensure I could drive away in my new car. Had no problems finding out what the clanking noise was. Fixed it and said that I was still under warranty. They were great to work with and gave me an ipad while I waited in the service lounge.
