Auto repair service near Milford, NE

Derek DBo DEREK DBO August 06, 2010 Dirk has worked on my cars (GMC, Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Toyota) for almost 15 years now. He does great work for a reasonable price. I completely trust Dirk when he identifies issues with my car and never question whether or not he has my best interests in mind. I no longer live in Nebraska, but I sent my classic car to Dirk. Dirk did a significant amount of work on the car in a relatively short period of time and the car runs great. It is extremely difficult to find a mechanic you can trust who does great work.

When your vehicle breaks down, you have to get it fixed. All you can hope for are honest, fair mechanics to take care of you. That's the only kind of experience I have had here. In fact, they've recommended that we DON'T fix things as often as they actually DO fix things, and that says a lot - they aren't looking for a quick buck, they are looking for lifetime relationships. I've had my cars and vans through Adams 10-15 times over the past decade and I can say that I would not take them anywhere else. I recommend them anytime anyone I know has car problems.

I spent a pretty good amount of money to have a manifold gasket leak fixed. After being without my vehicle for a week, and the repair being WAY more in depth than anticipated therefore costing significantly more than the price of parts, I got my vehicle back. I drove it for a week and a leaky exhaust manifold or manifold gasket noise developed which was worse than before it was fixed. I had it looked at again and a “new problem” with the manifold was diagnosed. So for an additional incredible expense, that leak could have been fixed. They were generous enough to waive the hourly rate diagnosis charge, but the exhaust manifold/manifold gasket leak is persistent and worse than before it was repaired and the nearly $3600… well I could have just lit that money on fire and would be in the same boat.

I had a fantastic experience with Skala's! I had a project car that I just needed enough tire to get it rolled onto a trailer. The problem was, the 69 Cutlass had 195/75-R14 tires.....it is nearly impossible to find used 14 inch tires! After a day of running around and being told this size of tire was nowhere to be found, I called Skala's. Scott told me that he didn't have that tire, but if I used an alternate size that would also fit, he had the pair that I needed. Scott was the only "tire guy" out of 10 tire shops that offered me a solution, instead of just looking for that one sized tire. This conversation happened at 5pm, with a scheduled Skala closing time of 5:30. I live in Lincoln, but Scott said "bring it on down, I'll take care of it". I hopped in the truck and ran down to Crete, and Scott's guys set to work on the tires. One of the rims had rusted to the point that the tire would not seal, but again, Scott came to the rescue. He went upstairs and found me a used rim that would work. The guys finished the tires up and I was ready to go. Scott is one of those rare businessmen that will go above and beyond what is expected in order to make sure that his customers are well taken care of! I would recommend Skala's to anyone! Scott and his team ROCK!!!

These guys really helped me out of a jam! I was visiting Lincoln all the way from Seattle and our Audi Q7 tdi threw engine codes and went into limp mode. The closest Audi dealer in Omaha was not even answering the phone. We got lucky finding European Autorech just a few miles away from our hotel. They agreed to see us that day and a couple hours later we were back on the road. We really appreciated the fast, friendly and spot on repair. Would definitely recommended them.

Absolutely great service and maintenance. They are honest, reliable and very easy to work with. Darrin keeps you up to date on status and there are no surprises when it comes to maintenance. This is truly the best Lincoln has to offer for auto care. Highly recommend! -Allison

These guys are fast and very good at what they do!Leon the owner is a great guy and will bend over backwards for his customers.Also the cheapest labor in town and they always get me in if I have an emergency repair.They are very honest and only repair what is needed and never rip you off or do a bad job,I take my 1973 Cuda there all the time for custom work.They will repair almost anything you want them to.Larry

I tried to purchase a vehicle at Gary's auto. I was given false information leading to the purchase. I was not informed that the vehicle did not have a free and clear title for Gary to sale. We had made a deal on this vehicle, I went thru all the trouble to follow thru on my end of the agreement to purchase, however, when it came time to meet with Gary, he called to tell me he could not keep his end of the agreement because the previous owner wanted the car returned and would not sign off on the title. I now have to go thru the embarrassment to retrieve telling everyone at work and all my friends about the car I was purchasing. I am so embarrassed by the situation of what happened to the deal. I was not even given an ultimatume of a different car to reconcile the pooh pah of this incidence. I did bussiness with Gary thinking things were being done in a good faith with his bussiness, I ended up with nothing but egg on my face.
