What an outstanding, ideal, model mechanic and business! After much research and speaking with several mechanics and repair techs, I found Walko Automotive to be the best solution to my bad hybrid battery. Walko Automotive helped replace my 2007 Toyota Prius battery in less than 2 hrs for THE MOST reasonable price. They offered a two year warranty and with their already outstanding business history, Master Tech certifications with hybrid vehicles (and any vehicle really), and a positive, family-oriented atmosphere, they were sure to deliver in every way you would expect the best and most trustworthy mechanic should. I've been going to Hughes Auto Service for over 2 years now and can't say enough good things about them! They always do a great job and are extremely honest with me. I have an 18 year old Saturn which has been very good to me, but occasionally needs service. They always correct the problem and explain to me exactly what the car needed. They always call me before making any repairs to get my approval!!! That is very important to me. All the mechanics and the owner, John, are wonderful, hard working, honest people!!! I would recommend Hughes Auto Service to anyone in the area without hesitation! You won't be sorry!!!!

Not recommended at all. Horrible service. OVERPRICED. Go in for a tune-up and am told engine needs replacing???? What's up with that? Tom Matthews was very abrupt with us. Basically told us, we owed him $250 for a tune up without even letting us know price first but engine would only last a month or so. Disagree with Marlene for sure - NOT honest, polite or caring at all.

bought a 2005 hummer 2 sut with 48,xxx miles,,very beautiful vehicle,,very nice people that work there also bought an extended warranty,,about it 07/11/2011.....took vehicle for first service at 50000 miles,,,,brakes,,were "metal on metal contact" not a major problem guess, the mechanic says " left cylinder head has broken bolt in back of manifild" apprently it was convered under the extended warranty, until it was time to honor the warranty, Contacted Automotive avenues, a few times, spoke to steve last and i asked if we can come to some kind of ground to fix this problem,,,i ased if i should contact a lawer or better business ,,and that was the last i heard,,,,i was told that this vehicle should never have been sold like this,,,,great people until, something goes wrong,,,,beware
