My husband, my son and I visited Madison Honda on 10/21/13 to buy a car for my son and a Honda Pilot for US. The Financing manager lied to us telling us our credit was not good enough for the best deal so we had to pay more. We felt despair and frustrated, but I thought we had no way out so we signed 2 leases that night, my son took his car (Honda Accord) but we didn’t take the Honda Pilot. However, we were a little troubled and unsatisfied because we had checked our credit scores before and it was much higher than Madison Honda claimed, so we decided to do some digging. My husband went to another dealer in a different area and was told the opposite. He was treated like a first class citizen, were told that his credit was excellent and got a deal much cheaper than Madison Honda gave him. They even gave him a 1. something % and offer me so much other extras to buy the vehicle, and it came out cheaper than Madison Honda offered with a lease. My husband called Madison Honda the next day to rescind the contract but they were very unpleasant and refused to work it out with him. Not only did they lie to us but also they made us feel like we were second or third class citizens. I am very disappointed after buying one car already from them; they way they treated us, made me feel discriminated against. They treated us like second-class citizens. I even called the manager who was no help. I am would like to know if anyone else had this experience. I am going to put this on social mediums to see if anyone else had this experience. I need another car next year, I am definitely not going to Madison Honda, and we will sure tell our friends and family.
