After much research and speaking with several mechanics and repair techs, I found Walko Automotive to be the best solution to my bad hybrid battery. Walko Automotive helped replace my 2007 Toyota Prius battery in less than 2 hrs for THE MOST reasonable price. They offered a two year warranty and with their already outstanding business history, Master Tech certifications with hybrid vehicles (and any vehicle really), and a positive, family-oriented atmosphere, they were sure to deliver in every way you would expect the best and most trustworthy mechanic should. Went there for state inspection. They told me that my car needs front break pads. I was surprised because day before I went to my dealer for oil change and state inspection, which they could not do because of their broken machine and they did mention that my car needed break pads after courtesy meticulous inspection. Dealer’s multipoint inspection sheet indicated that my break pads are less than half way through. I guess it is dealer’s word against Midas’s word. But I’m sure dealer would not pass on this job if my car needed pads and release me in unsafe vehicle. Not wanting to pay for failed state inspection, I went with replacement. Midas charged me $99.99 for Centric ceramic front pads only! + $106 for labor. I think I got the DEAL OF a LIFETIME here as such break pads cost no more than $30 all over the internet. I still could have done good mileage on these break pads. Rip off and scam. Will not go there again!
